• Alternate Character Interpretation: Quite a bit for different characters. But particularly, in regards to the Phantom (AKA Cape Nino). Is he really a part of Nino like he claims to be, or is he a separate entity from the Nino we're familiar with? And if he is separate, then what is he? Is he his own consciousness, Nino's old self, or even something, or someone else entirely trying to influence him? On the other hand, if he's part of Nino, then what does that imply about Nino himself? As of editing, this is all left up to speculation.
• Awesome Animation: Decimate, while deserving praise in its own right, had to face rapidly shifting art styles (due to multiple different artists helping Nights make it) and only basic animation. This is less of a problem by Proceed, and completely eliminated by Shatter, which completely eliminates said issues, and even starts to use 3D animation.
• Awesome Art: The comic starts out with decent but unspectacular art, but slowly yet surely starts to improve to be truly awesome.
• Moe: Due to the cutesy art style, several characters would qualify. Special mention would go to Five.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: Despite its whimsical nature, game references, cutesy art style, and genuine cuteness all around, this webcomic has strong language and a grim setting. To begin with, the first thing the protagonist encounters is a monster clawing its skin off.
