• Hilarious in Hindsight: Presence of Universal TV regular Kathleen Lloyd (billed as Kathy Lloyd) as one of the high school students in "A Very Special Sailfish". She has no scenes with James Brolin perhaps wisely, as she'd go on to play his girlfriend in The Car - no wonder Kiley uses a motorbike...
• Retroactive Recognition:
  • Richard Thomas, later of The Waltons, appears in "Echo of a Baby's Laugh" as a young expectant father.
  • Anne Schedeen, later of ALF, would be the third and final actress to play Dr. Welby's daughter Sandy.
• Values Dissonance: The attitudes expressed towards autism (treating it as a mental disorder) in "The Foal" and homosexuality in "The Other Martin Loring" and "The Outrage" definitely would not fly today.
