• Funny Moments: The reveal of Lacey's disgusting "meal" she serves to her customers is simply labeled "[censored for public health concerns]", making an otherwise gross and scary scene somewhat funny in a dark way.
• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The series is very popular in Russia, if the amount of Russian-language analysis videos and fanworks is anything to go off of.
• Moe: Lacey herself. She has an adorable design and a tragic past.
• Narm: Lacey's Diner contains a few elements that deflate the tension in certain scenes:
  • Lacey's suicide is accompanied by the cheery triumph music, which can make it darkly funny to some viewers.
  • When Lacey feeds her incredibly dubious food to her customers on the third day, they each make appropriately pained/disgusted sounds, except for the dark haired women who makes a bizarre high-pitched noise that sounds like laughing. It's rather jarring in what is otherwise an effectively disturbing scene.
• Nausea Fuel:
  • In Lacey's Wardrobe, the Stalker leaves Lacey a present with what appears to be someone's organs.
  • The ingredients of the food in the bad ending route of Lacey's Diner include cigarette butts, used condoms, cockroaches, glass shards, human flesh...
  • In Lacey's Petshop, her uncle's decayed corpse slowly leaving from under her bed and approaching the player.
  • In "the disturbing rabbithole of laceygames.com," when it's revealed that Lacey is actually working in a morgue, we get a scene of her applying makeup to Jay's decaying corpse.
• Nightmare Fuel: A lot of it, at that.
• Play-Along Meme: It's common (and encouraged by the creator) to see comments on the videos from people insisting they played the Lacey games as children, and reminiscing about them.
• Realism-Induced Horror: A lot of the Nightmare Fuel in the videos comes from how realistic the situations are. The stalker's obsession with Lacey can strike a chord with people who have been stalked before, and Lacey's Diner reveals Lacey was sexually abused as a child. Lacey's Petshop further shows how she was stuck in a cycle of abuse and had the only thing she loved, her dog, taken away from her.
• Tear Jerker:
  • This tweet from the creator depicts a screenshot of the Lacey's Games site showcasing a young girl's fanart... with the captions underneath utterly lambasting the poor kid's art skills, outright telling them that it was only displayed on the page for other kids to laugh at. It is so pointlessly cruel that it paints a horrifying picture of the kind of person who runs the in-universe website.
  • The Neocities website for the games has a picture of a sad Lacey with some text calling out the player for letting her suffer.

  • In "the disturbing rabbithole of laceygames.com," it's revealed that a character named Jay from the site was Killed Off for Real in a game called "Jay's Skating Game," and everything about her, including her other games, was removed from the site, in response to parents complaining that she was a bad role model. It gets worse later in the video, where a game titled "Lacey's Makeup Parlour" initially seems to be about Lacey working in a makeup parlour, only for it to be revealed that she's actually working in a morgue, where she has to work on Jay's body. It's implied this may have been how she found out that Jay died. Grace also states that Jay's corpse showed up in other games on the site after this, as well.

• The Woobie: Poor, poor Lacey. In no specific order: She was molested by her uncle, she is depressed and suicidal, she runs a doomed restaurant and she has a stalker who wants to eat her, she had a pet dog she loved that got murdered by her uncle, and her best friend died.
