• Crosses the Line Twice: You must warp out of the Dark World to beat levels. If you're on it and Sonic.exe isn't chasing you, he'll be where the level goal was supposed to be. He just sits there, laughing and staring. Due to the random, luck-based gameplay, finding him there is at once terrifying, hilarious, and irritating.
• Most Wonderful Sound:
  • Sonic.EXE's laughs when you die are awesome... even if it was Kefka's laugh first, and not Sonic.EXE's, combined with the fact that you'll be hearing them quite a bit.
  • When you reach the end of an act, you'll often hear a very low-pitched hurt/death sound. This is the very welcome and relieving sound of Sonic.EXE being stopped from attacking you for the rest of the level.
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • Whenever you die in the Dark World, them music will lag as if the game crashed while a message takes up the screen resembling a stalker's note while distorted laughter plays in the background.
  • When Sonic is warped into EXE's world, the only way out is to break item monitors. If you happen to reach the end of a level while in dark world mode, instead of the goal, you'll find him just laying on the floor, smirking. Even if you walk into him, he does nothing but stare through the fourth wall until his chase mode starts. Better hope he doesn't get you into an unwinnable situation.
  • When you get a game over, beat the game, spam the level select on Star Light or Scrap Brain Zone four times in a row, or just sit at the title screen for 1 minute, the "I AM GOD" image appears.
