- The intro and opening theme song were going to be different, according to this video.
- The Two Best Friends Play cameo was originally going to include both Woolie Madden and Liam Allen-Miller as well.
- A few pieces of concept art reveal that the characters would have been much more homogenized with either young kids or teenagers, both Caucasian. One piece sees the group as more militarized with a third, more bulky alien-ish companion.
- Five and Miko were envisioned with different personalities. Early on, Five would've been more of a serious stick-in-the-mud who hated his job; he then became a somewhat incompetent bumbler, before being retooled into his current laid-back rule follower. Meanwhile, Miko was first envisioned to be more sarcastic and cynical, compared to the final show where she's more fun-loving and hyperactive.
- There was going to be some extra dialogue for Mitch, as shown in the second and third drafts of "Smashozaurs".
- Five and Miko's initial meeting was different. Originally, Five was getting unfairly targeted during the game and Miko would have stepped into help. When Ashly Burch commented that no one who stop to help a random player like that in the middle of a gaming competition, since it's less competitors to worry about, it was changed to them being rivals who become friends after joining together in an Enemy Mine situation against Mitch.
- A deleted scene from "Collection Quest" shows Five and Bergy stopping by a store and fooling around for a bit.
- Some early designs for Ridley showed that she would've been taller, and some designs showed that she had more frumpy clothing.
- One of the unproduced episodes was a crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (mixing their original comic book and 80s cartoon designs), with Kevin Eastman voicing the Shredder.
- There was a character named Bolypius who was going to be the Big Bad of the show.
- Cakey Von Smasher from "Ralphie Bear Is Back" was going to have more dialogue, but the extra lines were cut out.
