Puppy! is the second animated short film based on Hotel Transylvania and was shown in theatres before The Emoji Movie. Set in the hotel, the short features Johnny and Mavis' son Dennis convincing Dracula to give Dennis a giant puppy named Tinkles. The rest of the hotel must learn to cope with it.
Tropes:
- Big Friendly Dog: Tinkles, naturally. He's big enough to ride on and very affectionate and playful.
- Canis Major: Tinkles again. He's bigger than a horse.
- Dark Is Not Evil: He has black fur but is quite friendly and playful.
- Meaningful Name: Tinkles gets his name from urinating in Mavis' room.
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: Dennis whips out the puppy eyes to convince Drac to get him a puppy.
