Hotel Transylvania is an animated media franchise created by Todd Durham that began in 2012. The series revolves around a hotel for classic movie monsters including Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, and the Wolf Man. Genndy Tartakovsky has directed almost every film in the franchise so far.
Works in the franchise include:
Feature films- Hotel Transylvania (2012)
- Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015): The first sequel, in which Mavis and Johnny have a son named Dennis.
- Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018): Another sequel that sees the Drac Pack head off on a cruise for the summer (as a surprise from Mavis to her dad), which Drac (at least at first) finds to be rather lame, pointing out that it's essentially "a hotel on the water."
- Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022): The finale film for the franchise. It is the only film in the series not directed by Tartakovsky (who still wrote the screenplay) or starring Adam Sandler (impressionist Brian Hull, who previously voiced Drac in the short Monster Pets, takes over the role). The film's plot involves a ray which turns humans into monsters and monsters into humans.
