Originally created by Pyra Labs in 1999, since 2003 the site has been owned by Google. Blogger is one of the older blogging services that is still running. Since 2006 the site has been more thoroughly integrated into Google, with use of a Google Account being required to use the service and using Google's Picasa for image hosting and uploading. New Features can be tested before release using the Blogger In Draft
