For centuries, the inhabitants of Snoworld lived in peace and abundance thanks to an interconnected network of limitless energy. But, generations later, the Luxbell corporation fabricated a story about dangerous radiation in order to monopolize that energy for profit. By complete chance, Spaicy Chicross overheard some Luxbell employees discussing their plan, and decided to take action. Armed with a magic whip, Spaicy set out to bring down Luxbell and restore free energy for all. But rarely are things ever that simple...

Spaicy note  is a Spanish multimedia project by LoulouVZ. It was originally supposed to be an indie game, but she ended up starting with a comic. It can be read on DeviantArt here, and on Tapastic here. Animations can be watched in English here, and in Spanish here. You can donate to the project here.

Allegedly joining Frederator Studios.

This work contains examples of:

  • Aerith and Bob: Bizarre names like Faunerd, Zag and even Lobster, alongside more common names like Derek, Natasha, Robert and yes, even Bob (Spaicy's brother).
  • A Child Shall Lead Them: Fibell Luxbell has been Empress of Snoworld since she was young. However, Natasha is using her as a puppet for her own goals.
  • Alien Sky: Downplayed, as the only unusual thing in the night sky seems to be the fact that the planet has two moons.
  • All There in the Manual: Copious amounts of lore and backstory can be found on the website.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: If you can think of any color, there's a good chance that someone in this universe will be that color.
  • Animesque: The series' art style takes a lot of inspiration from anime. This is especially apparent in the animated clips, which include a full anime-style opening.
  • Anime Hair: Just look at that massive ponytail! Plenty of other characters have even crazier hairstyles.
  • Barbie Doll Anatomy: Justified. They have genitalia, but they only appear when necessary (similar to reptiles).
  • Boots of Toughness: While worn by pretty much everyone (barring people who can't wear shoes like Faunerd and Zag), they don't always denote how tough someone is.
  • Cartoon Creature: Snoworld's populated by these. There are three species:
    • Animal: Their bodies are similar to most terrestrial animals (hot-blooded, normal organs, etc.). As opposed to just being one specific type of animal, they are mixtures of different animals.
    • Vegetal: Their bodies are composed mostly of plant matter, and their blood is similar to sap.
    • Mineral: Despite what their name might suggest, their bodies are composed mostly of machinery and they have oil instead of blood.
  • Cheeky Mouth: A staple of the animesque style.
  • Cheerful Child: Sugar (Mint's little sister) is shown to be this in the reboot as she runs around Spaicy with Airplane Arms.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Mint doesn't react well to seeing Spaicy interacting with other girls.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: The fight with Derek in Chapter Four.
  • Disappeared Dad: Spaicy's father vanishes at the beginning of the story. In its current iteration, he has already vanished by the time the story starts.
    • According to the website, Rex's father left before he was born, since he didn't want to deal with raising a child.
  • Dull Surprise: Fibell's English voice seems to be made of this trope.
  • Edible Theme Naming: The Starberry Family are all named after ice cream. Mint Starberry is a pretty clear pun on "mint strawberry," Albert is close to "sherbert," Piocha is "tapioca" and Sugar is, well, Sugar. Pepper is the sole exception, owing to her decidedly less chipper personality.
  • Eyes Always Shut: Mitsy Chicross. Art which shows her younger has her eyes open, however.
  • Fictional Zodiac: One which incorporates various creatures native to Snoworld.
  • Mad Scientist: Bob spends most of his time doing experiments, though he is pretty level-headed.
  • Man-Eating Plant: The killer algae in the hot spring.
    • Robert also qualifies, as the website notes him as being a "carnivorous plant."
  • Meaningful Name: Several characters.
    • Rex Sting, since he has a scorpion tail.
    • Lobster Hockett, since he has claws instead of hands.
    • Derek means "people-ruler," and since he's the boss of the robots, it fits.
  • Not Quite Flight: Spaicy can float in the air by spinning her whip.
  • Our Nudity Is Different: Many Snoworldeans, including the title character, wear little to no clothing, except for traditions such as wearing swimsuits to the beach. Snoworldeans' private parts are hidden unless they're needed.
  • Pantsless Males, Fully-Dressed Females: Zig Zagged. Any character can wear whatever they want, no matter what their gender is.
  • Reverse Psychology: How Spaicy convinces Bob to put her magic whip together.
  • Rule 34: The author herself has made some.
  • Soft Reboot: Currently undergoing a variant. The story has basically reset to the beginning, though some things are tweaked. Plus, everything is now in color.
  • Spoiled Brat: Fibell Luxbell is this through and through, throwing occasional tantrums when she doesn't get her way.
  • Toothy Bird: Zag has a Tooth Strip.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: No one believes that Luxbell would do anything wrong. Subverted in that the citizens start to figure out the ruse before the end of the first chapter.
  • Wall Pin of Love: Not in the actual comic itself, but Rex does this to Spaicy in this piece of art (complete with Luminescent Blush).
  • Weapon Specialization: Spaicy's weapon is a whip, which she can also use to hover.
  • Weird Currency: The currency of Snoworld is flakes, which are made of fossilized ice. They come in 6 colors (blue, green, red, purple, silver and gold) and each corresponds to a different value ($1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 respectively).
  • Wingdinglish: The Snoworldean alphabet is made up of symbols which each correspond to a letter in our alphabet. The way the language itself works is further broken down here.
  • X-Ray Sparks: During her fight with Derek, Spaicy gets electrocuted, producing this effect.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Mint, and according to the website, so is her sister Pepper.
    • Later confirmed in the reboot Chapter 3, when Pepper offers to fill in for Mint at her shift in exchange for her Yaoi collection.
