The one and only.
gomotion (also known as Jodie, gomo, or gomo gal) is a Youtube channel often focusing on Five Nights At Freddy’s, its fangames, and other video game media. Originally posting speed edits and fan music, the channel shifted into episodic reviews and video essays helmed by gomo gal sometime around 2017, with the episodes divided into three separate seasons.

Known for their zany and fast-paced humor, in-depth dives into the content she covers, overarching lore from the second season onwards, and a love for chunks of plastic related to their favorite franchises.

Tropes found or discussed on this channel:

  • Black Bead Eyes: gomo gal rocks these, even comparing herself to a Funko Pop! in one review.
  • Flanderization: gomo gal's craziness became much more pronounced with each video, being practically non-existent (or at least subdued) in the Early-Installment Weirdness era, with later videos in as late as 2024 operating on Rapid-Fire Comedy.
  • Gender Bender: gomo gal was originally gomo guy; however, after Jodie (the person behind the channel) came out as a transgender woman, gomo became a woman as well.
  • Motor Mouth: gomo has a tendency to speak very quickly, especially when they’re angered.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: She has admitted that she greatly enjoys the creepier side of video games, and most of her reviews focus on horror games.
  • Rubber-Hose Limbs: Goes along with her Toon Physics. Their arms are stretchy enough to cross borders, and go halfway across the screen for some of her expressions.
  • Sanity Slippage: At some point in the latter half of Season One, gomo evidently became much more out there and wackier in terms of discussion. A clear-cut case of this can be seen in her 123 Slaughter Me Street review, she admits that the repetitive game design drives her "kinda insane", especially the Kaizo Trap at the end of each level.
    Gomotion: IT’S A PRE-RENDERED CUTSCENE!
  • Suddenly Shouting: Often goes along with their Motor Mouth tendencies.
  • Surprisingly Creepy Moment: While gomo does cover lots of Horror related works on his channel, the content is generally offset by the wacky nature of its host. On occasion though, gomo herself would lean into the horror in her own videos. Like in Home Safety Hotline, where the skit of gomo providing a hotline service leads to a prank caller suddenly addressing them by name, followed the spliced messages of prior callers warning gomo to not turn around, which leads to a slow perspective shift behind gomo as a humanoid monster approaches her... which gets stopped by gomo dog crushing them.
  • Toon Physics: They have very stretchy limbs and an ability to pull things out of Hammerspace, which unnerves some of the guests who force themselves into their reviews.
