Requiem for a Pizza is a Team Fortress 2 SFM machinima by ItalianNinja about a Demoman delivering a pizza with his... buddies, with FemScout and FemSniper wanting to claim the pizza for themselves.

Hilarity Ensues.

Part One (The Meeting) can be watched here, and Part Two (self-explanatory) can be watched here.

Requiem for a Pizza contains examples of:

  • Amusing Injuries: Frequent throughout the series.
  • Ass Shove: Happens accidentally to the Demo, when he throws away his Eyelander, but it instead ricochets around and impales itself right into the unfortunate Demo's rear-end.
  • Atomic F-Bomb: Demo drops one when he realizes the pizza box is empty.
  • Casanova Wannabe: After seeing FemScout playing with a cat, Scout's plan for wooing her involves having Engineer and Medic shrink him so that he can hang from her chest. Rather predictably, it doesn't end well.
  • Delayed Reaction: It takes Demo about 8 seconds to realize FemScout and FemSniper have stolen his pizza.
    Demo: ...Nuh.note
  • Distaff Counterpart: The FemSniper and FemScout are ones to the Sniper and the Scout, respectively.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: After getting hit in the face with a pizza box and then taking a gander at his Chargin' Targe, the Demo immediately gets an idea.
  • Fastball Special: As the gang finds a tunnel blocked by iron bars, Demo opens the tunnel by nonchalantly throwing Scout with enough force to break them.
  • Get a Hold of Yourself, Man!:
  • Iron Butt Monkey: All four of the protagonists are this trope, the amount of abuse they all get (some of them even coming from the Demo himself) shows them to be a lot more resilient than they have any right to be.
  • Made of Indestructium: The gang spends a considerable amount of time attempting to break the portcullis barring the entrance to DeGroot Keep: Demo attempts to cut it down with a fire axe (only for the axe to get stuck), Spy tries to cut it with his knife (only for the knife to get stuck), Scout tries to punch it, Sniper tries to lift it and Demo tries to dropkick it while Spy kicks Sniper out of the way (only for Demo to get stuck). Demo then tries using Scout as a battering ram for laughing at him, followed up by a rocket launcher: the rocket gets stuck; Demo throws the launcher at the gate in frustration but it ricochets into Scout. Finally, he decides to ram the gate with a tank; it also doesn't work.
  • Man on Fire:
  • Mundane Utility: Thanks to his "Eureka!" Moment, Demo finds a new use for his Chargin' Targe, using it as a mode of transportation when working as a pizza delivery man.
  • No Indoor Voice: When Sniper catches fire, he starts ranting and screaming from the pain while speedrunning the Death Run map he's trapped in. FemSniper tries to force mute him when his ranting reaches micspam levels, but it doesn't work. He only shuts up when Demo pushes him into a pool of water.
xXF3M_Sn1prXx just tried to force mute Sniper, but the man cannot be stopped.
  • Oh, Crap!: The Half Life 2 civilians are understandably terrified when they realize they are trapped in a Death Run map.
  • Rule of Funny and Hilarity Ensues: The main ingredient of the series.
  • Rapid-Fire Comedy: The duology doesn't exactly give you time to breath, there's going to be a multitude of jokes and comedic moments one after the other.
  • Running Gag: A normal cat is frequently mistaken for Gordon Freeman, with Half Life 2 NPCs following the kitty around as if they were the real deal.
  • The Reveal: Doubling with The Stinger, It turns out the pizza they thought was stolen by FemScout and FemSniper was actually meant to be delivered to them all along, rendering their quest not-so-pointless after all.
  • Shield Bash: Naturally, the Demo isn't afraid of using his Chargin' Targe for it's intended use from time to time.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Shrink Ray: Scout asks the Engineer and the Medic of his team to make one and use it on him in a ploy to woo FemScout. It doesn't work.
  • Speaking Simlish: Demo invites Sniper to join him while simultaneously belching and slurring. Sniper manages to understand him anyway.
  • Take That!: When the Sniper is left hanging on for dear life on a ledge and Demoman is about to let him drop by stomping on his fingers, the former gives him a pleading puppy-dog eyes face, which seems to affect Demoman for a bit all while sad music is playing in the background. Then it immediately gets interrupted by him looking at the viewer and giving a finger. The whole moment was definitely a joke against overlydramatic TF2 animations which the creator has admitted to not being fond of before.
  • True Companions: Despite half of the group coming from two different teams (Demo and Scout coming from BLU while Sniper and Spy are a part of RED), the group become incredibly tight knit that. The latter three decide to quit their jobs and work alongside Demo as pizza delivery men.
  • With Friends Like These...: Demoman's pizza-delivery partners... leave a bit to be desired, especially where water travel's concerned.
