Manga Character Sprinklers is an original YouTube channel, where manga is written out and read by various actors. It is a Rom Com anthology series starring Yuto Tanaka, Ryuji Takahashi and one-off female characters. The English version can be accessed here. The original Japanese channel can be found here.

While Yuto and Ryuji usually have their roles set throughout the stories, their appearances, ages, and origins differ from story to story.

Manga Character Sprinklers features examples of the following tropes:

  • Bad Boss: Hayakawa harasses and often dumps his work on Yuto just because he is popular among female employees and the hostesses provided extra service to Yuto than him. He later transfers Yuto into a smaller branch in the countryside. He later gets scolded hard by the CEO for manipulating Yuto's evaluation to get him transferred and embezzling the company's entertainment expense to go to his favorite hostess bar. In the end, he ends up getting himself demoted and transferred overseas.
  • Cute Ghost Girl: A female ghost named Shizuka haunts an apartment that Yuto rented, intending to kick him out, however, Yuto is not afraid of her because he thinks his former boss was far more scarier than her.
  • Japanese Delinquents: Yuto in some stories is often depicted as a former delinquent who attempts to disguise himself as an introverted student.
  • Hate Sink: Takahashi in most stories are depicted as unlikable jerk who antagonizes Yuto.
  • Haunted House: In this story, the cheap apartment that Yuto rented is haunted by a ghost, many people moved away because of it.
  • In Love with Looks: Ryugo rejected his Arranged Marriage to Seriko because she was fat and decided to have his brother Yuto date her instead. Yuto gets along with her despite her being fat, which drives her to lose weight to look good for him. When Ryugo sees how good-looking she is, he tries to steal her away, trying to use his greater wealth and position to alongside the fact that they were originally supposed to be married to entice her. Seriko turns him down, not wanting to be married to a guy who judges people by their looks.
  • Reassigned to Antarctica: Yuto is transferred into a branch in the countryside by his boss Hayakawa just because he doesn't like Yuto for being attractive to his favorite hostess. It turns out that Hayakawa was manipulating Yuto's evaluation so he could get rid of him, this causes him to get himself demoted and transferred overseas.
  • Stealing the Credit: Takahashi manages to steal Yuto's proposal with the help of Makiko, who knows the password of his computer and she is also cheating on him with Takahashi. Unfortunately for him, he gets himself fired after Yuto told the CEO about it.
  • Supreme Chef: Yuto Tanaka may seem like a poor chef, but he is actually so good at cooking that even the food critic knows him.
  • Universal-Adaptor Cast: Downplayed. No matter the setting of the story, Yuto Tanaka and Ryuji Takahashi will almost always have the same roles as the protagonist and antagonist, respectively. However, their appearances, ages, and origins differ in each story.
