Karekore the Half Blood (混血のカレコレ, "Mixed Race Karekore") is a YouTube animation channel created by Plott. It stars a group named the Karekore-ya consisting of three monsters, Kagechiyo a half-vampire and half-zombie, Hisame, a half-snow spirit and lightning god and Cidy, a half-werewolf and half-horus.

In the year 2000, Earth got teleported to a different dimension and the creatures there started to inhabit the planet. The English channel can be found here. The original Japanese channel can be found here.

This series provides examples of:

• Ain't Too Proud to Beg: The scientist that created the Karekore began to beg for his life when Kagechiyo threatened him for kidnapping Hisame.
• Beach Episode: This episode has the Karekore-ya going to the beach complete with having Cidy and Hisame being hit on by people.
• Big Bad: Top Predator is the main villain of the series. They experiment on humans and demi-humans.
• Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Mr. Hara appears to be a nice teacher who listens to his students, however, he blackmails a girl into taking her clothes off and threatens to expose her part-time job as a hostess to have her expelled.
• Crossover Cameo: Flag-chan and Mobuo from Grim Reaper Flag-chan! appear in this episode as part of the festival crowd.
• Cyborg: Hisame's stalker gets turned into a cyborg by two aliens and continues his mission to stalk Hisame.
• Day in the Life: One episode has Hisame record a video of herself going through her morning routine and going to school.
• Disguised in Drag: Kage and Cidy dress up as schoolgirls to infiltrate an all-girls school to recover the tape that their client recorded to expose Mr. Hara. However, Kage's disguise doesn't work as he is accused of being a pervert by a security guard, while Cidy's disguise instead attracts several schoolgirls into him.
• Downer Ending: The cat girl who was incarcerated because she stole to survive, tried to escape from prison but was killed by the demons.
• Evil Principal: A teacher at a cram school brainwashes his students by making them recite a repetitive phrase over and over, and charges parents $1,000 for it. However, the Karekore-ya uncovered the school's true nature and got it shut down.
• The Fat Episode: Kage and Hisame are trying to lose their weight after eating a lot of Cidy's cooking. Hisame eventually manages to lose her weight normally, however for Kage's case, he becomes extremely skinny after he overworked himself to buy diet pills, not realizing that he already lost most of his weight.
• Fountain of Youth:
  • Kage is turned into a young boy after being given a poison by a gang member while he was unconscious. However, he kept his original personality after his appearance changed.
  • Cidy and Kage were turned into children after they accidentally drunk a potion that they got from a client.
• Gender Bender: This episode has Hisame and Kage switch genders by using an app for a day. Male!Hisa is admired by all the girls in school while Female!Kage was bullied for getting close to him.
• Gold Digger: A pink-haired woman dated a rich man who paid off her gambling father's debt. Soon after, she left him. Subverted when she regretted it and went to Hisame for advice. Hisame told her to talk to him.
• An Ice Person: Hisame is a snow spirit and has the ability to freeze things at will.
• Humans Are Bastards: When the Earth got teleported to the creature dimension, the humans were no longer in charge of their planet. The humans started to do horrible things to the creatures.
• Incredible Shrinking Man: Kage shrunk after he drank a shrinking serum that he mistook for water, that Hisame got from a client.
• Mistaken for Undead: Kage gets mistaken for a ghost due to his poor disguise as a schoolgirl.
• Paper-Thin Disguise: When a human boy dated Hisame, Kagechiyo and Cidy spied on them with disguises that barely changed their appearances. Hisame even recognized them on the spot.
• Precocious Crush: A elementary-school kid falls in love with high schooler Hisame. When he confessed his feelings to her, she let him down gently. He didn't take it well but soon thought that Hisame meant for him to figure it out on his own and is now determined to get her love.
• Shoddy Knock Off Product: A middle-aged man named Yasuda decided to create a YouTube channel copying the Karekore. He hired a black man and a model as stand-ins for Cidy and Hisame. Hisame showed him the knockoff channel but Kage didn't care. The channel eventually lost popularity due to people getting tired of their repetive content. As a result, the two people Yasuda hired left him.
• Shout-Out: This episode has Kage and his date talk about other YouTube channels such as Grim Reaper Flag-chan!.
• Sick Episode: Hisame got a fever and Kagechiyo has to take care of her.
• The Smurfette Principle: Hisame is the only female in the Karekoreya.
• Stalker with a Crush:
  • A stalker is obsessing with Hisame to the point where he stole Kage's phone and texted her using the phone. When he and Hisame met in a hotel, he drugged and kidnapped her. Fortunately Kage arrived at the scene and saved Hisame.
    • The same stalker has been released from jail, however he still stalks Hisame and starts holding a grudge against Kage by accusing him as the stalker. He starts planting a bug in all of the outlets inside her apartment and he attempts to rape Hisame again when she's asleep. Fortunately, Kage again shows up to save her from the stalker.
    • At first, Hisame's stalker tried to atone himself by working as a monk at a shrine. However, he later continues stalking Hisame after he became a Cyborg, this proves that he doesn't learn any lesson from his encounters with Kage at all. This eventually causes Hisame to teach him another lesson when he tries to hurt Kage.
• Unexpectedly Dark Episode: When Cidy is the protagonist of an episode, it tends to be more serious than other episodes.
• Violently Protective Girlfriend: Hibiki defended her boyfriend Kage from bullies. The bullies are even scared of her.
• Was Once a Man: Kage used to be a normal high school boy until he got infected with the zombie and vampire virus leading to his current form.
• Who Wants to Live Forever?: A demon girl gained immortality after a lightning strike. She lived for a very long time but she watched everyone around her dying. She went to the Karekoreya and asked them to kill her.
