RLYoshi is actually a Yoshi.
When he appears on camera, it's not actually him. He's off camera, doing all the real playing. Schuyler is "in-character".
We know from a comment he made in an episode of New Super Mario Bros. Wii that not only is he a troper, but he knows Max has an article. He could have found the character page and realized he was labelled as being The Stoic, the Only Sane Man, etc., and decided to just keep playing that up. That's why he acts so annoyed, rather than just...you know...quitting the recordings. He enjoys it; he's just in-character. Max is sociopathic, psychotic, manic, or otherwise clinically insane.
- If he wasn't joking, in the first part of the 2014 Christmas special, he says he's "legitimately insane", and in recent videos before then he had developed a bit of an Ax-Crazy side that is also visible in the stories he tells in videos, Tumblr posts, and Ask answers. Maybe it's being Played for Laughs... or maybe he actually has a mental condition.
