WMG / Friday the 13th: The Game

Go To

WMG pages are Spoilers Off. You Have Been Warned!

This is all a Holodeck Simulation on the Grendel
  • This is why Jason can never seem to kill the same Counselors permanently despite killing over and over again.
    • Technically, this would make Jason's world an Ironic Hell.
      • Actually, it was his idea of Hell in Freddy vs. Jason so it actually could be his eternal punishment.

Possible alternate DLC Skins

Counselors:
  • Any of the characters from Friday the 13th: The Series.
    • The Stoner and Alpha Bitch archetypes, absent from the launch counselors but present in the films.
      • Confirmed as both Mitch and Victoria have been added.
  • Tommy Jarvis:
  • Ash Williams. He might be a little OP with his dual-shot shotgun and chainsaw, but maybe he won't be able to actually kill Jason, just like in the comic where, unlike Tommy, he lost in a stand-up fight.
    • To add to the challenge, various Deadites will be bonus enemies after purchasing the hypothetical DLC that features Ash Williams.
    • Or they could make Ash be as he was before he went up to the cabin, thus no shotgun or chainsaw and wearing moccasins (and, players will be able to see Ash use the single-barrel shotgun, which he hasn't used since the first film). Of course, get the voice of Bruce Campbell (that's without saying).
    • OR, Ash still has his chainsaw and shotgun, can kill Jason, but Ash will need to find a way to get Jason kneeling down, and then he could saw off Jason's head for that. Either that, or he could use the Necronomicon to literally make Jason rest.
  • Tina Shepard as a reinforcement. She can communicate with both living and dead counselors, use telekinetic abilities with a cooldown period, and always be able to sense Jason on the map, but because of the psychic link, Jason can be able to find her anywhere on the map too.
  • The Dead Rising Protagonists as reinforcements.

Alternate Killers
  • Pamela Voorhees: Like Roy, Pamela will be a Glass Cannon. She'll specialize in stealth. She'll also have the ability to distract Councilors by pretending to be nice (unless the player witnessed her kill before), similar to when a player puts on Pamela's sweater. In the intro, instead of attacking a councilor in front of the players, she will hurl him through the window so that they won't see her, making the aforementioned distraction ability easier.
    • Pamela may be used as a tutorial player character, especially with the upcoming single player mode. The tutorial could actually involve recreating the kills she performs in the first film, with the tutorial ending with Pamela being killed much like in the film.
  • Roy Burns as a Paramedic, as one of the killers.
    • Complete with Defibrillators and scalpels as his weapons of choice.
    • Instead of Bear Traps, he would use syringes filled with a sedative of some sort (although, for obvious reasons, he would need to be close to a Counselor or a Reinforcement to use them, which would add some challenge. Also, Counselors might be able to use the syringes against him, which will also add some challenge.)
  • Freddy Krueger as another killer.
    • Unlikely for the same reasons as Leatherface. Although there's a reference to him in Jarvis Tapes, where he ends up in Springwoods.
      • To be fair, they could simply use Classic!Freddy Krueger instead, because Dead By Daylight has Remake!Freddy Krueger.
  • Leatherface as another killer.
    • Doubtful; Dead By Daylight already has Leatherface as DLC.
      • The version of Leatherface used in Dead By Daylight appears to be the Remake!Leatherface. So, they could use Classic!Leatherface instead.
  • Michael Myers as another killer.
    • Unlikely for the same reasons as Leatherface.
      • They could use Rob Zombie's Halloween Remake version of Michael Myers instead of Dead By Daylight's choice of Classic!Michael Myers.
  • Chucky as another killer.
  • Norman Bates as another killer.
  • The Maniac Cop as another killer.
  • Angela from Sleepaway Camp as another killer.
  • Mandy Lane as another killer.
  • Jennifer Check as another killer (because Jennifer's Body is arguably a slasher movie in some ways.)

If the game is a hit, Gun Media will make a game for A Nightmare on Elm Street
  • Complete with the two games crossing over as DLC.

Counselors will be able to wear Pamela's sweater
  • Counselors will be able to take the sweater from the corpse and wear it to confuse Jason.
    • CONFIRMED.

There's ONLY ONE person who can kill Jason
AND HIS NAME IS..........TOMMY JARVIS
  • More or less, though it is a team effort. First, Jason needs to have his mask knocked off. Then, a female counselor needs to grab Pamela's sweater, using it on Jason to stun him long enough for her or another to knock him to his knees. Only then can Tommy land the killing blow with an ax or a machete.

The man who raped Pamela/conceived Jason... Was one of the rapists who later conceived Freddy Krueger.
  • Making two of the greatest slasher villians... brothers!

There will be a Jason X Map
  • In the teaser for Uber Jason in Virtual Cabin it also involves a teasre for the Grendel.

A Freddy Versus Jason Update
In addition to a new Jason skin, and a new map (the under-construction Camp Crystal Lake), there will be a Freddy Versus Jason game mode, which will differ slightly from the regular game:
  • A nine-player lobby instead of eight.
  • One player will randomly be chosen as Jason, as normal, while one player will randomly be chosen as Freddy.
  • One of the Counselors will randomly be chosen as the Dreamer. The Dreamer spawns on the regular map, but unconscious and unable to act, meaning the other Counselors have to keep Jason from finding and killing the helpless victim.
  • The Dreamer also spawns solo in a "Nightmare Map" with the Freddy player. The Dreamer's goal will be to get to Freddy and complete a repair-like minigame to grab Freddy and wake up, reviving the Dreamer on the main map and spawning the Freddy player onto that map.
  • From there, the game becomes a three-way free-for-all with Jason and Freddy trying to kill each other and the Counselors, and the Counselors trying to escape, assist Jason and/or Freddy in killing each other, or kill them themselves.
  • Jason and Freddy can kill each other solo. For Jason, it involves dealing enough damage to Freddy to lop off his right arm, then performing a grab and executing Freddy by shoving his arm through his chest (as Jason "killed" Freddy in the movie). For Freddy, it involves dealing enough damage to Jason to get him to drop his weapon, then Freddy using that weapon to kill Jason (as Freddy nearly "killed" Jason in the movie). The Counselors can pull the same sweater and Tommy trick to kill Jason, and a new way to kill Freddy would be added for the Counselors.

Jason X Map
Just some ideas:
  • Instead of calling the police, you will be able to contact space marines who set up a safe zone at one of the exits.
  • Instead of summoning Tommy Jarvis as a reinforcement, you contact the android KM-14. She will have a space age shotgun, as well as a special "kick" move that will stun Jason. She is the only one capable of killing Jason.
  • Another reinforcement could be Elijah Brodski, who, thanks to his armor, can go toe-to-toe with Jason.
  • It could be possible that this map would be the first map in this game to have two reinforcements instead of just one.
  • Also, it's possible that these reinforcements do not have to be playable, instead being helpful summons that assist the playable counselors WITHOUT said reinforcement being playable.
  • Instead of cars and boats, you have to repair an escape pod.
  • There will be a DLC costume set of space suits for the counselors.

Upcoming Weapons for Counselors and Jason:
  • List of weapons for the counselors:
    • A Chainsaw. As a reference to how it was used by Ginny against Jason in Part II and on Roy in Part V
    • A Shovel
    • A Pitchfork
    • A Broken Fence Part
    • Boat Motor: A reference to Part VI
    • Ithaca 37: As a reference to the shotgun used by Sheriff Mike Garris.
  • Weapons for Jason:
    • The Tree Trimmer with a buzzsaw that he used in Part VII
    • Freddy's Claw Glove Arm: From Freddy vs Jason.
    • Harpoon Gun: As a reference to Part III & IV.
    • Bow And Arrow: As a reference towards the Reboot.

Guesses to what a Savini Jason-themed Jason in Hell map would be like....
  • The map itself will be one specific part of hell that has parts from locations that convey a common trait of each of the playable characters.
  • AJ's rosary will play an important role in this map (either trapping Jason or a new method to kill Jason).
  • A copy of the Bible will also play an important role in this map (again, to help trap or kill Jason).
  • Instead of calling the cops, the player can contact angels who will open a portal out of hell.
  • Instead of Tommy Jarvis, the reinforcements could be a couple of Badass Preachers who have heard about the Jason Voorhees massacres.

There will be a Friday the 13th: The Series DLC Pack
  • Curious Goods will be a map.
  • Micki or Ryan will be playable counselors or reinforcements.
  • There will be a game mode where Jason has to be killed by one of the Cursed Objects from the series. Instead of Pamela Voorhees, Lewis Vendredi will be the one communicating with Jason from beyond the grave.

AJ was a victim of rape prior to the events of this game.
  • Which will eerily mirror Pam's own victimhood.
