WMG / Baymax!

Go To

The Lucky Cat Cafe originally belonged to Hiro and Tadashi's parents
Cass tells Baymax that keeping the café open is part of a promise she made to the family.
  • Alternatively, it was only run by Mrs. Hamada, Cass's sister, with Mr. Hamada having another occupation.

Hiro attended Sofia's middle school before he went to high school
It was his idea for Baymax to give the presentation.

If Baymax! takes place after 'The Mascot Upshot', the mascots went back to their original businesses
This is why we never see them working the cafe.

If Baymax! is after The Series, Go Go, Honey, and Wasabi have moved away and are now working at Bragtech
They were applying for jobs there in the Season 3 premiere of the previous show. This would also explain why we never see them.

The red swim trunks Baymax is wearing in Kiko's episode are Hiro's
Baymax stretched them out.

     Theories for Season 2
Episodes will be at least 10 minutes longer.
This can allow for more character exploration.

There'll be a flashback episode where Cass recounts to Baymax how Hiro and Tadashi lost their parents and ended up with her.

There'll be a prequel episode that centers on Tadashi creating Baymax.
Dr. Lily from "City of Monsters" will appear.

Callaghan and Abigail will return as patients.
Callaghan will be dying and Abigail will still be recovering from her stay in hypersleep.

We'll see Hiro's family beyond Tadashi and Cass.
We'll learn if any of his grandparents are alive and he has any other aunts, uncles, or cousins.

The rest of the team will make appearances.
Though we won't see them suit up.

There'll be references to Big Hero 6: The Series.
Characters like Mini-Max, Granville and Karmi will appear.

There will be a time jump to a few years later.
Hiro will be a young man having graduated from SFIT and perhaps even having married Karmi.

A future episode will deal with mental health and medication.
Maybe Baymax's patient will be on SSRIs and not want to take them, either due to being ashamed, or (if they're an artist), worrying being medicated will kill their creativity. Naturally, Baymax will help them see that this medication is just as important as any other and that it'll ultimately make their life easier. Lots of people are on antidepressants and other SSRIs these days, so it'd be cool to see Baymax, in his usual way, gently breaking down the stigma, just a little bit.
  • Another one could be social anxiety, where Baymax’s usual method is doing more harm than good as a Self-Parody or Deconstruction
  • Another could have ADHD and wants to be "Normal", and needs to learn that it's ok to be different.

A future episode will deal with vaccines and the anti-vaxxer movement.

There will be an episode dealing with grief and how to cope with it.
Maybe the patient had lost a loved one, refusing to accept their death or refusing to have someone new in their life, making the patient isolated and distant. Baymax will help them to come terms with their grief by taking them to a counselor or psychologist. Lots of people see therapists, so it would so cool to see it shown as a good thing in Season 2.
