- For those who question the stinger of BFB 30, thinking that it makes this Jossed, there's a simple explanation. X used the wording "borrow", implying that he'll give it back eventually. So, there.
- Later, in TPOT 8, when Pin was flung around the world, Leafy and Firey were shown, now on an island, therefore it's leaning towards Confirmed.
X > 20 is a number greater then 20, the most likely amount is 40. Characters up for voting will probably include all Battle for BFB extras and some special Patreon Recommended characters, as well as possibly including recurring recommended characters and characters the team finds interesting, along with select BFDI Mini Contestants
- The Announcer, for a future Return to form season
- Four and X (Cary and Michael did say Four and X would return in future content)
- Purple Face (A Newbie Host for an all Newbie Season)
- Another Number (Any of the numbers could qualify but Six seems like the most likely, as the upcoming Season after TPOT is Season Six and Four hosted Season 4)
- The Cheese Orb (A Call-Back to BFDI where this character appeared as a Sham Announcer)
- Pillow (Being more psychopathic and murderous than every host in every object show ever combined)
- Both shows have overlapping crew members and Adam Katz is a close friend of the Haung Brothers, so the idea could pop up at some point. Plus BFDI contestants often made cameos in the earler II episodes.
Now for guesses on specifics
- 'Contestants
- BFDI: Firey, Leafy, Bubble, Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, Blocky
- II: Fan, Test Tube, Baseball, Nickel, OJ, Knife
- Using II elimination system with BFB style challenges, using the BFDIA Challenge Wheel
- MePhone4 as The Host, X as Co-Host, (Mythology Gag as X was Four's Co-Host)
- Confirmed. The flinger does reach the TLC, but TV snatched the LOL's key while he was being eliminated, meaning it stays locked from the inside. Instead, losers now go to the WTF, the Weak Trembling Fortress.
- Jossed. In BFB 15, it turns out that Firey was simply faking in order to fool the others. If they truly did know of Firey’s memory, then he would be hated.
- It turns out that BFDIA 6 is actually IDFB 1, which takes place 3 years after BFDIA 5e.
- Confirmed: See BFB.
- Confirmed.
- Confirmed? In BFB 16, Two is shown using his powers to make the pole fall over and reveals the mountain to be a volcanic peak. It was also mentioned in BFB 23, and it was used in TPOT 2.
Well, that would explain her artful dodging (then why could Spongy do it then? Leafy obviously built his spaceship!) (But why could Puffball do it??), having knives out of nowhere, being able to make a huge taco and cake in the same time as other contestants making smaller ones, getting to pick teams twice on BFDI as well as almost winning the whole thing, the whole Yoyleland "blue-skidoo" thing, being liked by almost every contestant until she steals Dream Island, being so high on the niceness chart (above "world-endingly" and similar levels), her Unexplained Recovery between BFDIA 5a and IDFB, how she could switch teams in BFB despite no one else being able, being implied to be the embodiment of nature in BFB, appearing from nowhere in Yoyleland, and having an inexplicable Evil Counterpart with insane powers. Her status as The Woobie is simply a trial to somehow "save" objectkind from Evil Leafy.
Four is NOT a god. He is a formation of Evil Leafy to continue Leafy's trial. The "BFDI" he offers is just that: an alternate timeline of BFDI created to please the winner, but EXIT is actually Evil Leafy's way of stealing souls. Evil Leafy expects that the contestant who wins the BFDI will succumb to their sins when making it, thus belonging to her and giving her the power to plunge Goiky into darkness (she already got Evil Forest). Only Leafy can keep her intentions truly pure, so to save everyone, she must win the BFDI. Balloony being popped by Leafy was actually the work of Evil Leafy, to manipulate the voters into eliminating her.
Non-recovered dead objects have their souls go inside Evil Leafy, which would explain why Recovery Centers are so important in the BFDI universe. Leafy tapped into the life-force of the BFDI universe to create the BRC, the only one that she thought to be necessary in peaceful times. After realizing she killed Ice Cube, she built the ICRCC between episodes, which created the ICRC. The FRC and MRC were also built between episodes. Once the MRC was built, the recovery methods for all types of objects were fully-realized, allowing anyone to create a recovery center, which explains how Flykyd Fly, Announcer, and the BFDIA speakers created them!
- Then what is Two supposed to be, and why did Leafy follow Four over Two?
- Probably, Four being factored into Donut somehow cleansed all traces of Evil Leafy from him and transformed Four into his own being. However, these weren’t erased from existence, but rather turned into a different formation. That formation is Two.
- Then what is Two supposed to be, and why did Leafy follow Four over Two?
- This WMG is jossed, as Four appears as a seperate entity unrelated to Leafy, and was shown independent of them in a flashback.
Four always says some variant of "the last-placing team is up for elimination" before the challenge. However, he didn't say anything like that in BFB 13, but instead that the team needs to find emeralds before X does. Plus, if multiple characters are eliminated, that could compensate for the long wait.
- Jossed. Bleh was the only team UFE.
- Seemingly Jossed. In BFB 16, Four introduces an item called a BFB. It simply shows the current episode of BFB. Presumably, the BFDI would've done the same thing but with the first season if it were won.
- Completely Jossed by BFB 30. The BFDI is actually the last remaining archive of the original two seasons of Battle for Dream Island.
- I don't agree with this, but it is very interesting. If this was proved canon, I guess it'd be like how the animals in cartoons speak English instead of barking and meowing.
- Confirmed. Price Tag joins along with Winner.
- They seem to be chilling in Two's apartment for now.
- Book and Ice Cube will not share a team. Ice Cube still hates Book. Why would she want to?
- Confirmed. Book is on Just Not and Ice Cube is on The S.
- Judging by their immense popularity in the fandom, there's a chance this might happen.
- Different Troper here, who dislikes Leafy and hates Firey. That sucks, but I already predict it will happen. It'll be so boring if the finalists are the same...
- Jossed. Firey is eliminated in episode 25.
- Jossed.
- Jossed. Multiple characters have referenced events from the previous three seasons. For example, in BFB 3, Pin mentions the Announcer, and then Eggy asks to know more about the original season.
- I like this idea.
- Jossed. Winner joined, making 41. Two decided to let the second-most voted join, but since Nonexisty is 0, he let the third-most Price Tag join. So that's 42, not a prime anymore.
- The characters haven't worn clothes for 10 years, so unless a severe version of Sharia law is introduced that extends to any sentient people in cartoons (which is also unlikely), there is no reason for it to happen.
- Confimed? Flower and other characters at least start wearing sweaters in BFB 25.
Okay, so once [name witheld] gets eliminated, they cannot be put in the BRB since it spins so fast. Instead, they must be sent to the EXIT. However, the EXIT is full, therefore necessitating a rejoin.
- Jossed. Bubble's sweater from Flower protects her from popping in the BRB.
- Even if it didn't what would stop Four from just simply sending Bubble to the EXIT and putting one of the EXITors in the BRB?
Ok so Once BFB and TPOT are over, something really big would happen and here are a bunch of scenarios
- Four and Two Team up and Fight the Contestants and once they are defeated, X turns into his real form as a object. It might happen because Four and Twos behaviour may foreshadow something
- The Announcer reveals himself That he was the mastermind behind The whole BFDI storyline. And explains that they are competing on Dream island instead of winning it
- Or Four, X, and Two team up with the contestants to defeat the Mastermind behind the game.
- Jossed, Two does not want to fight Four in the finale, and Four and X learn the value of friendship with the contestants, also Goiky and Yoyle Land are express locations.
- Probably not, there are times where he hasn’t gotten the most votes to stay.
- I believe that he will place at least top 6, but him winning feels unthinkable. I feel he might be another Taco situation where other more interesting contestants steal his thunder and Firey gets eliminated for it.
- Both Jossed. Firey is barely eliminated in episode 25, at 7th place.
Think about it: if Four never showed up, Bubble would've never stood up to Match, Taco would've never called Book out, and Firey and Leafy wouldn't have patched things up. Woody would also never learn to stand up for himself.
In a way, Four is an Expy of Koro-sensei.
Of course, Two came along and completely derailed his plan.
But Book started treating Taco badly after the show started but maybe Book would have acted like it sooner or later.
- Jossed, The Actual Prize was the BFDI, along with the BFB and The Grand Cake, but the contestants and hosts realized that the true prize was all the memories they spent together which is why the prize has value, but that is not why Four made them battle, Four made them battle because he was a fan and wanted to host a Season.
- Jossed. 8-Ball is a billiard 8-Ball.
- Appears Jossed at least for the Battle for BFB contestants as of BFB 30. The only contestants that may be 100% Jossed are Firey and Leafy, as they sailed off into the sunset
- Confirmed. Teardrop joined in episode 2.
For example, Tree dies for the first time and he is recovered as a Clone.
Every time a clone contestant dies, there are many of them left (probably around 1 million clones)
- But in BFDIA 4, Coiny tried to recover Book and the machine cannot do that because she is still alive.
- Unusual Confirmed/Jossed limbo. He merged with Earth in BFB 28.
- Yoyle Mountain is seen in BFB 16 when Two showcases their power. But maybe their stay in Yoyleland did come with some Laser-Guided Amnesia blocking their memories.
Now that it’s full, Four has to bring the remaining eliminated contestants to the big rotating building. We never saw the EXI Tor's after BFB 16. So they are all stuck here forever, Firey will never see his Jr self and Bubble won’t see her Alliance anymore unless Four gets them out for the finale which might happen
- Seems Jossed as of TPOT 1. The stinger reveals something which will not be spoiled here. Watch the stinger to find out what happened.
- I doubt it. Loser was Cary and Micheal's favorite character but he still got eleminated anyways. Besides, it's all up to the viewers to vote on who gets to stay.
- Firey is eliminated in episode 25; so this is Jossed.
- What reinforces the theory is that Snowball, whose under the effects of yoyleberries gets pulled off the balance beam in TPOT 8 due to the density of yoylemetal and immediately falls.
- This might be jossed after BFDIA 9 since Bubble apparently died offscreen sometime between BFDIA 5 and BFDIA 9 and was brought back to life by Pencil, which solves the TLC plothole. After this she was not let into the game by Puffball Speaker Box, though whether or not she may be a candidate for a rejoin is yet to be seen.
- Jossed: Ice Cube joins the alliance properly in BFB 13. And then she parts ways with the team in BFB 16.
- In BFDIA 2 - Get Digging and various episodes in BFB, you can see that Dora eats Islands, which means that if Leafy sold it to Dora after the Announcer sold it to Leafy, this theory is correct. If only BFDIA was finished, we could’ve found out...
- A possible reason why the TLC and LOL was locked and cannot be opened post BFDIA, is that the key was destroyed in some manner.
- Since the TLC is locked from the inside, there will only be a smaller number of contestants who will be able to rejoin and only the WTF is accessible, meaning only one contestant will probably go back into the game.
- It can explain why everyone knows about them as of BFB.
- Since they died while they were still zombified in TPOT 9 and they weren't seen nor mentioned in the next episode, it's safe to say their deaths are permanent, though they could come back as ghosts later on.
- Most of the failed debuters could count too, as they either died while still zombified, or weren't seen eating the steaks at the end.
- These characters' permanent deaths may even become a plot point in a future episode similar to the Inanimate Insanity episode, "A Kick in the Right Direction".
- Most of the failed debuters could count too, as they either died while still zombified, or weren't seen eating the steaks at the end.
- Since Flower is more friendly in IDFB and beyond, perhaps her character development began there.
- Just because one comes before two.
- ...will be the real Dream Island as opposed to Pin's Farm Island. Because the season is ran unofficially without the Announcer's involvement, there may be a faction within the confines of the season's roster acting as a search party to find Dream Island after Leafy stole it and caused it to disappear. And once it's found, it'll be reinstated as the prize in secret, and will likely be kept a secret going forward from anyone not involved in the season or stuck in the TLC, to keep up the Masquerade of Leafy still having Dream Island because the rest of BFDIA is unofficial.
- Cary Huang's video of special relativity focuses on Bubble and Leafy. Cary says that "right when Leafy and Bubble are born, Leafy watches Bubble turn on a lamp," implying that they were born close together. He also seems to use "Yoyleland" and "home" interchangeably.
- Considering that you’re using the video, this would be Jossed. Saying that he seems to “use Yoyleland and home interchangeably” implies that you’re blind. They are most definitely two different locations, and this destroys this WMG. But the entire video is non-canon, so they could be from Yoyleland or not, nobody knows.
An aspect of Rocky's behavior is silently staring at other characters with an abnormal smile on his face. And it's never explained why he does this. His vomit is also the main part of his life and makes his character... well, Rocky. In episode 25 of the first season, Rocky's ability to vomit in copious amounts is explained by an infinite matter generator in this mouth, which allows voluntary control of barf. This generator implies that all those times Rocky has vomited on people and property were intentional, and done to cause hurt to others around him. Add in the fact that his vomit allowed him to win some contests, and you're looking at a sociopath hidden in the form of a rock.
- One line of dialogue gains a whole new meaning. He asks Pencil in Episode 19 if she was glad "he didn't vomit on her". This shows a level of awareness in Rocky that he KNOWS that vomiting is gross, yet he does it anyway. Him asking this rhetorical question could imply he wanted to throw Pencil off guard for a moment.
- No, it's a writing tool used by children. It was created for factory workers to label products.
- His species' name is Algebralien. All Algebraliens behave in erratic and/or surreal manners in varying degrees. It's probably a quirk their species have.
In BFB 4, when Loser says he doesn't like papier-mâché, we cut to a flashback, where we see a few mysterious people beating up a papier-mâché construction of him, presumably made by Loser himself. Perhaps Loser isn't actually that popular at all?
- Perhaps people were only faking actually liking him...
In BFB 1, at the part where Four recovers Pin and Pillow, turning on the Spanish subtitles nets a message reading "*Te dije que controlaba a todo el universo...*" For non-Spanish speakers, this reads, "I told you that I controlled the entire universe..." In BFB 5, he also refers to Pen's "makeover" of him from the previous episode as "blasphemous."
Liy actually killed one of them for unknown reasons, and after being recovered, they developed a hatred for Liy, along with the other, thus starting the feud. Because of this, Liy could also be The Atoner; she clearly regretted killing them and wanted to atone for her sin, and also wanted a way to end the feud. One day, she was inspired by Pie's pacifism to form Death PACT and atone for killing Foldy/Stapy by saving lives rather than killing.
- Plausible, they have known each other since BFDI Appisiote 225555555.
Firey is just some guy she had a crush on. She got mad at Firey between BFDI and BFDIA.
It's never been said on the show, but here's a possible guess on the characters' race based on personality.
Asian: Gelatin, Spongy
Japanese: Flower, Pillow
Hispanic: Firey, Firey Jr.
Latino: Ruby, Stapy
Italian: Eraser
Canadian: Gaty, Saw
Black: 8-Ball, Blocky, Bomby, Lightning, Nickel, Snowball
Australian: Tree
Sweden: Rocky
Russian: Fanny
Indian: Balloony
Britain: Two
The rest are American.
- The BFDI Map doesn't show any real places so these places likely don't exist in BFDI and Algebralians such as Two are aliens so unless Britain is in outer space that part is Jossed.
Although the ages of the objects are unknown, here's the possibilities based on personality. (Gelatin mentioned that he's 5, but that was just a joke).
Ages 6-11: Profily, Price Tag, Firey Jr., Cake, Marker, Pillow, Naily, Lightning, Grassy, Bracelety, Bomby, Ruby, Ice Cube, Rocky, Teardrop, Woody, Spongy
Age 12-14: Winner, Liy, Loser, Stapy, Foldy, Taco, Fanny, Remote, Pie, Bell, Barf Bag, Eggy, Clock, Gaty, Saw, Book, Fries, Puffball, Nickel, Gelatin, Needle, Coiny, Bubble, Firey, Pin, Leafy
Age 15-17: Purple Face, TV, Black Hole, 8-Ball, Robot Flower, Balloony, Basketball, Cloudy, Lollipop, Roboty, Tree, Bottle, Dora, Donut, Yellow Face, Blocky, Match, Pencil, Snowball, Flower, Pen, Eraser, Tennis Ball, Golf Ball, David
Two, X, Four, and the speaker boxes will be aged 22.
- Actually, Gelatin stating that he's a six-year-old actually makes sense, considering that many events in BFB follow the same timeline as real life.
- WMG is Jossed. Gelatin really is 8.
- Golf Ball wrote a Book that was 1 billion Years Old as of BFDIA, so this WMG is further Jossed.
In BFB 2, Woody didn't know Roboty was at the waterfall, but when he is falling trough the waterfall at BFB 14, it reminds him of Roboty.
- Woody: Wuh? Woboty?
- Then what the hell is IDFB?!? I honestly think IDFB means that this entire thing is Jossed.
- IDFB is the prisoners, one-by-one, getting released from jail now that the U.S. military has invaded and regime change is in progress in the country,
- What about Two and the new season that came with him?
- The new regime isn't much better and opened the prison camps back up. Some of the prisoners somehow got sent back.
- what about the rejoins in BFDI 9, BFDI 21, & BFB 11?
- New prisoners, but the old prisoners imagine them as being past ones.
- Remember in the stinger of BFB 4 when Eggy said that she remembers being "an egg inside of an egg"? Well, what if that's how objects reproduce (if they can)? I mean, they have to come from somewhere..
- With how overpowered and popular the guy is, I can see him giving up his own safety to ensure his friends will survive in an auto elimination challenge. Jackn Jellify tends to do this sometimes like with Ice Cube in Season 1 being contestant voted off despite how popular she was.
- Weren't auto-eliminations and the like deconfirmed?
- As for David and Dora? They could be a super early form of primate.
- Yoyle City could either be a city founded by timeline travelers, or a city that used to be inhabited by these early primates.
- Remember in BFB 6 when Eggy blurted out that Clock screwed everything up and made their team UFE? Sure it was random, but it was probably intentional. Now, remember how characters with "mean" personalities tend to be voted off? Yeah.
Well, what if Cary and Michael had originally planned for Eggy to become one of those "mean" characters (and get eliminated)? What if Loser was supposed to have a different story instead of the one he has now?
- The official character guide book states that Cary's (and probably Michael's too) favorite character is Loser. Judging by their desperate attempts to save him from elimination and make him more likable, they really didn't want him gone so early.
- Dream island migh’ve existed or didn’t got stolen by leafy
- leafy Would have Died
- A few more characters would’ve joined BFDIA
- Team no name Didn’t die in evil leafy while freesmart died
- Team No name Wins BFDIA 5E
- BFDIA would’ve Continued
- All characters in the TLC would’ve escaped in IDFB
- The berry seeds will be not Explosive
- BEEP wins the 2nd contest
- The Losers won the twinkle contest
- Loser is safe
- Book would’ve be nice to taco prior to BFB 14
- Cake answers his question bravely without pin’s speech
- Leafy would’ve not rejoined
- The Lava apocalypse didn’t happen
- Two never Stolen Four show
- BRB never existed
- Have Nots would’ve won BFB 20 and 21’s contest
Yeah that’s what I thought
- Umm...Most of those things have nothing to do with Firey.
The Announcer was created to keep the objects distracted, while Four is a completely different SCP part of another collective SCP for sentient numbers, SCP-6001. Four himself is considered a Keter-class object at Threat Level Red due to being an unpredictable Reality Warper, but fortunately, he doesn't have the will to cause an HK-class deific subjugation scenario as is often feared. Instead, he seems more interested in continuing the Announcer's job. X, on the other hand, is a Safe-class object at Threat Level White because he's, well, X.
- What about Two? What class would he fall into?
- Same as Four, if not more so
Theres also a hint in BFB 7 that Tennis ball said that remote's a person which means the objects might used to be humans
- That last point doesn’t prove anything. While the definition of “person” is confined to humans and only humans, do you think it’d be that way if there were other sentient species? I don’t.
- Plus, it is implied that objects are "born" when they make their first BFDI appearance.
- On Pencil's infinite doodle, there's something that says "Ew! Blood!" and a red blood cell for scale.
- In BFDIA when the prize for Cake at Stake was Donut's corpse, Ruby comments on how good his "blood" tastes. I mean, out of context that's disgusting, but I agree with her.
- In IDFB, there's a bloodstain on the wall that says "STOP HER", probably referring to Evil Leafy since for a split second she appears behind Tennis Ball.
- Marker looks through Lightning's camera as he takes a picture of Donut. At first, you can't see him, and Marker confirms his theory about Donut being a vampire, until the camera zooms out from his donut hole to reveal he actually is there. Vampires existing in BFDI means there is blood to suck, otherwise all the vampires would starve. And it's proven more when he comments "Meh, still have OTHER evidence..." implying that Donut sucked his blood (ink, probably) or he saw him sucking another character's blood. That last part probably was just a delusion though, with him being a Cloudcuckoolander and all.
- Flower in BFB 23 says "My ears, they bleed!" to which Firey replies "Plants have blood?" implying that different types of objects have different blood or none at all.
- A few episodes before that, she is shown to have a brain. Of course it has no blood, but that is even worse, because now we know objects have organs. Wait, if she has organs, where do they put them in her stick body?
- Actually, now that I think about it, I should've known that from the very start. In the stinger of s1ep3, Tennis Ball says he has to go to the bathroom. That means he has a bladder and/or bowels. Ewww! And it's even worse when you take into consideration that he was in a stack, AT THE TOP.
- This is not canon, but it deserves a mention. In the "If Among Us Was a BFDI Challenge" video, as Match and Pencil go to scan in MedBay, Pencil mentions being able to see 3D renders of Match's internal organs, height, weight, blood type, wood type, and eyeball fluid viscosity.
- Then what about BFDIA, IDFB, and TPOT?
- Jossed, BFDI is a TV show, but not a private one, as in BFB 30, Four was seen watching it in a flashback and he has no relation to the announcer, Four took the show from Announcer, who is the true creator of BFDI, stating that it's his life's work.
- She shows several symptoms, such as mood swings (going from friendly and kind to bashful and hurtful, as seen with her friendship with Bubble), excessive energy, and bouts of sadness (as shown among her feud with Firey and other contestants).
As of late seaon 4, however, she seems to be improving.
- Ice Cube barely talks and shows little emotion.
- Ice Cube has trouble making friends (besides Bubble and maybe Clock.)
- Ice Cube's former voice actress (Kenzie Bryant) mentioned being autistic on her card page.
- The biggest support for this theory is Gelatin's age. In BFB 6, Gelatin claims to be a 6-year-old. In BFB 21, Gelatin additionally states that his birthday is June 29th. Do the math, and you get one day before the release of BFDIA 1.
- According to Book in BFB 13, the first thing she remembers saying is, "I'm a dictionary and you'd better believe it", her first coherent line in the show in BFDI 19.
- In BFB 18, Ruby cryptically asks "mommy" if she "did a no-no again". I theorize that Ruby is referring to the viewers that created her in this scene.
- Finally, BFDI 23 has Bubble obtain a letter from the Youtubers Flykyd Fly and yummysimon4 claiming that they are building an Announcer Recovery Center. Said recovery center appears later in the episode. Perhaps the viewers are capable of more than just creating life and voting.
- In BFB 29, Blocky states that attempting to save the show might be "the last thing they get to do together", as if their existence is tied to competing on the show.
- Maybe they were exaggerating? But then again it'd be hilarious if it turned out they weren't.
- Considering they have recovery centers, it is possible they never age.
- To add even more fuel to the fire, one of the show’s creators Carykh, draws humans as a stick figure with a yellow head, now add petals to their heads…
- And she is one of two contestants who use the term “Oh my God” implying the existence of Christianity and dare I say, humans.
Maybe at first the soul of the dead character wanders around, and when their name is typed on the HPRC some kind of metaphysical black hole attracts the soul to the recovery center and then puts it in the body that's stored inside.
The reason why she did that is unclear, it could have been only because she wanted the recovery centers to come back, or because it would decrease her own chances of being eliminated, or simply in order to bully her.
- BFDIA 11 has Pin suggest Ice Cube do the same thing and not pick the immunity option on the prize wheel, though which direction this pushes the WMG is anyone's guess.
