Fridge Brilliance

  • How is it that Woody was able to become so good at pranks in spite of his meek nature? He's been Blocky's most consistent prank victim for the last 10 years. Of course he would be directly influenced by the prince of pranksters himself.
  • Leafy's line to Flower in BFB 29. She tells her "don't be selfish!". Considering what Leafy did in the BFDI finale, she did not want Flower to make the same mistake that she had.
  • Upon first look at the BFDI prize it seemed strange that it had the Battle for Dream Island logo but the cast picture of BFDIA. However, looking at the BFDI prize after the reveal that it was a compilation of both BFDI and BFDIA, it started to make sense as to why it had that. A closer look also shows that there is a time bar underneath the BFDI logo, the time saying that it's 3:50:14 which also foreshadowed the true nature of the BFDI prize.
    • Not to mention, the BFDI logo (and the time bar) are taken from an unofficial compilation of BFDI episodes. Sound familiar?
  • In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Pin reveals to Coiny that she hated competing in BFDIA. Why would Pin hate competing in BFDIA? Because she forcefully lost her limbs in BFDIA 5a and got her face removed in BFDIA 11.
  • As it turns out in BFB 5, the reason why there was that random scene of Team Ice Cube giving Gelatin an Affectionate Gesture to the Head after Four had stated that he got Bracelety's signs from the dumpster, is because Gelatin was the one who threw out Bracelety's signs.
  • When Four and Donut were multiplied, it makes sense that only Donut remained, even when X left. Donut and Four's collision could look like 4(0), which is the same as 4 x 0.
  • Of course Four hated Pen's drawing in "Today's Very Special Episode", he drew the number 4 in the "closed" style while Four resembles the "open" style.
  • Battle for BFDI is Season 4, and BFB is where Four is the host.
  • In "Counting for Christmas", when Fourteen says he wants a fork, the other algebrailians object, but Ten is noticeably crying. This is because the former ate the latter's skin.
    • Four doesn't object because he's sociopathic, generally speaking.
  • After Four makes X cry in BFB 3, Eggy, Cake, and Pin are shown talking about how the season's hosts are "a real mess". These three contestants would later switch to Two's show with the release of BFB 16.
  • The release date of BFDIA 10 skipped February 2024 because 2014 wasn't a leap-year.
  • Balloony listening to Four as he's in the EXIT is likely how he knew about the eternal algebra class before it was revealed to everyone.
  • Why does Yellow Face hate Purple Face so much? Well, if you look at a color wheel, you'll see that yellow and purple are on completely opposite sides.
    • Additionally, Yellow Face says that pink is not as bad as purple but not as good as yellow. This is because Pink is closer to purple than yellow on a colour wheel.
  • Why is Puffball Speaker Box more sadistic than Firey Speaker Box? Well, it's shown that the Announcer (who's rather sadistic himself) was the one who built the former.
  • Most of W.O.A.H. Bunch (except Spongy) considered Evil Leafy a fictional monster in BFDIA 6 because they didn't encounter Evil Leafy when they walked through the Evil Forest as Evil Leafy got crushed by Ruby and Book.
  • Why did Black Hole and Lightning not participate in the challenge in "Fishes and Dishes"? They would both be incredibly dangerous and guaranteed to cause death if they were to enter the Goiky Canal. Lightning would be a walking case of Electrified Bathtub to anyone in his vicinity, while Black Hole would drain the entire canal and therefore kill its entire ecosystem and also any contestants swimming in the canal.

Fridge Horror

  • Bubble states in BFB 21 that she bought a Bubble Transformer from Yellow Face once. The Bubble Transformer turns people into bubbles, so this means Bubble wasn't always a bubble.
    • There's no reason she couldn't be a bubble from the start.
    • She could have bought it for someone else.
      • According to the original ad for the Bubble Transformer, they don't sell personal recovery centers. So, regardless of whether or not Bubble herself was a bubble from the start, this is arguably even worse.
  • According to Pencil in "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", The Book of BFDI Tips and Tricks as well as Golf Ball are at least 1,000,002,020 years old by current year. And considering Golf Ball has her dimples in the book, which she didn't have when living in Yoyle City, she's presumably lived with PTSD of physical abuse in Yoyleland for over a billion years.
  • Had the Announcer Transportation Device not crush Flower, she would've continued her rampage and probably would've killed everyone!
  • What happened to the eliminated contestants inside Four when they were combined with Donut? Better yet, (if they hadn't entered the door yet) what happened to them when Four combined with the desert in BFB 28?
    • When they were combined with Donut, they were apparently just fine, but Four never came back to give them another equation until BFB 10, so they were stuck doing the same one many times.
  • In the stinger of BFB 30, X takes the propeller off the boat which Firey and Leafy are on. The problems with this aren't immediately obvious, because they were trying to create an example of Book Ends by saying "hey" at the same time. As a result, the viewer isn't immediately aware of the problems. However, once you think about it, you realize the implications. Firey and Leafy are stranded at sea with no apparent way of transportation.
    • In TPOT 8, it is revealed that Firey and Leafy somehow made their way to an island.
  • Any water that comes in contact with a Yellow Face Skull becomes cursed, which causes it to kill plants. Assuming that Four's statement about Purple Face being the most cursed being on the planet wasn't just an insult and was a legitimate fact, does this mean that Purple Face is a Walking Wasteland?
  • What happens if Algebraliens divide by zero?
  • "Outbreak at Stake" has Bell fear that "Undead Nonexisty" is trying to pull her down. While this is quickly proven to be false, it still brings up a terrifying concept. If Nonexisty can become a zombie, then he must have enough of a presence to be able to be infected and would likely be able to spread the virus. But what type of presence would Nonexisty have? An invisible zombie being on the loose is actually the best case scenario, because if Nonexisty's "nonexistent presence" technically counts as him being omnipresent, the entire BFDI universe is utterly screwed.
  • The eliminated contestants are revealed to be sent to an upside-down hotel. Don't see the Nightmare Fuel? The contestants are likely trapped there forever, since even the door is upside down. And while being trapped in a hotel is arguably better than being trapped in a box, it still is terrible.
    • What's more, the contestants have their own room. Now combine that with everything said above, and you get an absolute Fate Worse than Death: being alone forever while your friends don't know where you are, and not having anything to kill yourself with, and not being able to starve to death because your species is unable to.
  • Evil Leafy being able to escape the TLC sometime around BFDIA 2 is terrifying enough, but it becomes more so when you realize that Black Hole and Nonexisty are still stuck in there during the events of IDFB. How does the TLC contain them and how much of an Eldritch Abomination is Evil Leafy that she can break out when they can't?
  • In TPOT 10, Two sends each team inside one of their member's heads to deal with a nightmare, and doesn't seem to have put any thought into the process of picking and choosing which minds to send them to, which has the side effect of shrinking The Strongest Team On Earth and leaving them stuck inside of Robot Flower's head. This likely means that if Nonexisty became a contestant, he would have the same odds of being the dreamer as everyone else. As he does not exist, he can't possibly have dreams either but unlike Robot Flower he has no physical head or anything else that could metaphorically be one. As a result, the process will either fail and his team wins by default... or the challenge will be the least of his team's problems for multiple possible reasons.

Fridge Logic

  • In "Return of the Hang Glider", Flower managed to lift the Master Recovery Center, a recovery center the size of a building, and throw it into an incinerator. Yet in "Getting Teardrop to Talk", she can't open a jar of cyanide.
  • Why the hell did everyone turn against Loser just because of a simple lie??
    • Counter Question, why is literally any celebrity turned against? It was a betrayal of trust from Loser, no matter how trivial.
  • In "Return of the Hang Glider", Woody has a heart attack because of the grey colours in the Announcer Transportation Device, yet several of the characters are grey and Woody isn't scared of them. Hell, in BFB, he is on the same team as Rocky, Nickel and David, three grey characters, and Woody is perfectly fine. What is up with him?!
    • The explanation is simple: Tennis Ball can't tell what fear Woody died from. I mean, he literally can't. The MMR isn't known to have existed before BFB 13, and even if it does date back to BFDI 25 or earlier, Tennis Ball clearly didn't have one while on the Announcer Transportation Device. Therefore, Woody could've died from literally any fear that seems logical. I would guess that he died from fear of heights. There's no proof of this not working. Nowhere in the first season is he high enough for fear of heights to apply. And while BFB 5 does show him not having a heart attack on that paper airplane, that's 6 years later. And at that point, Woody seems to be slowly overcoming his fears. This means that there's nothing stopping this theory from working.
