     Pre-Reveal Guesses
Motif Guesses
  • Journey to the West
    • While there have been some of homages to the story, there's never been a team explictly inspired by it the same way that Donbrothers is an explicit homage to Momotaro. The team will start as a Power Trio based on Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing (with Animal Motifs of a Monkey, Boar, and Frog) - potentially down to them being defectors from the villain faction who are seeking out redemption from a heroic figure (Tang Sanzang). Later in the series their mentor will become a ranger themselves, and their official Sixth Ranger (actually the fifth numerically, but think in terms of Gekiranger will be the White Dragon Horse.

  • Heavy Construction
    • The team's Mecha will based on construction vehicles like excavators, dump trucks, concrete mixers, cranes and such.
    • Their weapons will be based on things like jackhammers, power tools, and even less dangerous items, such as measuring tape.
    • The suits will evoke the uniforms of construction workers, with helmets with tops that look like hardhats and visors that look like safety goggles.
    • The heroes will either be a family who run their own small construction company or the friends and associates of someone whose family do.
    • The villains will be:
      • Construction/demolition robots that have gone haywire.
      • A corrupt corporation, a change in pace for the franchise with wholly humans being baddies.
    • Either the vehicles/mecha or weapons/tools will be alive and able to talk to the team, not unlikes Bob the Builder or Handy Manny. They would be the comic relief.
    • The team will actually fix back the damages done to the city.
    • The explosion themed name will refer to them being a demolition company

  • Marine Mammals
    • Aquatic animals in general
      • Red Shark
      • Blue Lobster
      • Yellow Swordfish
      • Green Octopus
      • Pink Dolphin

  • Spies

  • Extinct Animals

  • Ninjas
    • It'll be Kakuranger's 30th anniversary
    • Combined with Birds to make Tengu
    • An adaption of Ninja Captor

  • Animal/Vehicle hybrids

  • Cats

  • Waterfowl

  • Mountain Climbing

  • Spy + Ninja Hybrid
    • The gimmick is ninjas that hide in broad daylight.
    • Collectables will be everyday objects that can be transformed into various weapons and gadgets.

  • Mythological Creatures

  • The Magnificent Seven Colored Samurais/Cowboys of the Rainbow

  • Vehicle/Vehicle hybrids
    • Each ranger will have a pair of vehicles that combine into a single zord. Like Jet + Racecar for example

  • Military vehicles
    • To match the explosion-themed name.

  • Explosives + Music
    • The team's name derived from explosives and Boombox, which is a large portable music player.

  • Racing vehicles

  • The theme of Boonboomger is vehicles in general.

     Pre-Premiere Guesses

The TQGers in their appearance will be played by the younger actors instead of the ones from the show
  • Most likely, since Shison Jun is currently busy with other projects.

The wheels on the rangers' helmets double as spare tires.

The series will be a Lighter and Softer comedic series a la Carranger and Go-onger.

The wheels on the helmets double as steering wheels for the mecha

There will be Two Girls to a Team, and Orange will be a girl
  • Jossed. Orange is a male.

The starting villain trio will end up joining the heroes before the end
Either out of a genuine change of heart or to save their own lives when more serious villains show up.

There will be Shout Outs to Transformers
Boonboom is an alien robot who helps the heroes and can transform into a truck, not unlike Optimus Prime. As a result, owing to the Transformers franchise having robots that turn into vehicles (the latter being what Boonboomger is based on), there will be references to multiple Transformers comic books, games, and television shows, from taking cues from their plots and individual attacks the team can improvise, to weapons they can invent and other vehicles, such as a fire truck-themed vehicle spraying liquid nitrogen like one of Ironhide's guns or Cliffjumper's Glass Gas Cannon being one of the Sixth Ranger's mech weapons. Even the Knight of Cerebus may also have a personal mecha taking design cues from Megatron, Nemesis Prime, and/or Menasor.

The identity of Mira’s groom.
The synopsis for episode 1 released a week before it airs mentions Taiya/Boon Red saving a bride by the name Mira Shifuto. That’s also the name of the woman who will end up becoming Boon Pink by the end of the episode; thus making her the first Ranger to get married on the first episode of her show, instead of towards the end, pre-series or post-series. Until the episode airs, feel free to speculate on the identity of her groom.

     Post-Premiere Guesses
The orange ranger is the son of a CEO of a construction company.
This leads to him having construction-themed mecha.

A Knight of Cerebus will arise
The show is goofy most of the time, from the team's comedic Slice of Life shenanigans to the villain generals getting a few gags or being comically serious and each Monster of the Week bringing in their own brand of slapstick humor. One of those villains (such as an evil ranger), however, will be a serious threat with special equipment, world-class fighting prowess, unique and deadly abilities, intelligence and cunning, a contrasting no-nonsense personality to at least one of the the heroes, and/or a rivalry with one of them. Their presence will make the show undergo Cerebus Syndrome akin to Mashin Chaser, Stacy/Stacaesar or Don Murasame, forcing the Boonboomgers to take their battles more seriously, along with revealing the true stakes of the show. Any brawls with them may also carry tones of the consequences of vehicle accidents, debates concerning alternative fuel source vehicles (such as electric cars), environmentalism, or the rise of self-driving cars, and/or what true beauty is.

An Anti-Hero will pop up
There have been anti-heroes popping up in Super Sentai and Kamen Rider in their more recent shows, namely with Gotchard's Supana Kurogane and King-Ohger's Kaguragi. Some traits for the show's anti-hero can go about:
  • Like Supana: Still fighting the villains and works with the Boonboomgers, but with a very low opinion about the heroes and their non-Earth allies. Also has their own Transformation Trinkets, having built it themselves.
  • I Work Alone: Saving the world alone their way and theirs alone, no help needed.
  • He Who Fights Monsters: Crushing the villains with enough brutality to make them just as bad as the monsters they slay.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Uses underhanded means to end a battle in a flash. Methods are also morally questionable.
  • Nominal Hero: Heroic for self-serving reasons, such as more social media views.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Their aloof nature is the result of a traumatic experience back in their youth.
  • Classic Anti Hero: They have flaws leading them to be the anti-hero and thus must conquer them to grow into a true hero.
  • The Unfettered: They don't care about morals, the enemy must die.
  • Isamu Fuwa before his Character Development: Same as Supana, but they rage quite a bit.
  • Terror Hero: Goes about like Batman through violent means.
  • Knight in Sour Armor: Cynical hero.
  • Smiting Evil Feels Good: Takes their time brutally finishing off the Monster of the Week slowly and painfully as their pleasure.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: They can pull off a Kamen Rider Calibur, doing very dangerous things for a noble goal. It ends up clashing with the Boonboomgers' way of heroism.

A crossover with Kamen Rider Drive
Owing to both shows being based on vehicles, a crossover can happen, in a similar vein to both ToQger and Gaim and Ninninger and Drive. There will be a meeting where one of the Boonboomgers or the villains cross paths with any of the heroes from Drive. Also, the Sixth Ranger may discover the Drive Pit after getting flung there from a Curb-Stomp Battle, convincing Mr. Belt to reemerge because Shinnosuke Tomari needs him to protect society and humanity can only use his technology properly if someone shows them how to do it. Meanwhile, the villains manage to reverse-engineer the Roidmudes' technology by stealing Banno's data and using Roidmudes 002, 009, 012 and 055's remains for their own purposes, forcing Drive, Mach, and their allies to help the Boonboomgers as much as they can to prevent another potential doomsday event.

In a related vein:

A HBDVD involves new Rangers based on all the remaining Boomboon Cars
A shady guy declares a battle royale between all of them, and Rica Matsumoto does another new theme song

Taiya sells back the properties he have bought.
Just a little bit of upgrade, and he can sell them for a higher price and make a net profit.

Boonboomger will have Arc Villains
After the Boonboomgers defeat the Sanseaters (Or after the Sanseaters will have an Heel–Face Turn, which is very likely considering their cheerful personality), Madrex and the Charge Team will probably succeed them, and later maybe another group of villains will fight the Boonboomgers before the Big Bad finally steps it.

Boonboomger will take a page from Kamen Rider and have the ISA be involved with the villains in some way.

Other Vehicle Sentai will appear in the series
This includes the Turborangers, Carrangers, and Go-Ongers. They will either appear in a special crossover movie or are participants in the Big Bang Grand Prix.

The reason for Taiya's dream
It's to unite people across the universe in a sport everyone can get behind, racing.

If the Sanseaters have an Heel–Face Turn, Yalcar will combine with the Boonboomger Robo
They replace just the head to form Boonboomger Waruobo

Why Mad Rex's face scars and Hashiriken are on the left side
Mad Rex got those scars while TAMING Hashiriken at first

We get a second Sanseater squad down the line
There'll be a bosozoku type with a huge katana and a pompadour that functions as a cannon, a female sukeban with a Chain Pain attack, and a straight up Dumb Muscle Mighty Glacier.

     Sixth Ranger WMG
Sixth Ranger Color guesses
  • Green
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Bronze
  • White
  • Yellow
  • Purple
    • Current toy listing leaks indicate this to be the case.
  • Cyan

The Sixth Ranger's mecha will be some sort of car carrier vehicle

The Sixth Rangers will be a duo using motorcycles

An additional Ranger will ride an ATV
It would be different without being too different.

The wheel on the helmet will be replaced with a jet booster.

Sixth Mecha Guesses
  • Airplane/Jet
  • Train
  • Motorcycle

Instead of traditional sixth Rangers, we get the Sanseaters post-Heel–Face Turn
And instead of being Killed Off for Real like the ones from Go-Onger, the Sanseaters get "hero" forms akin to Metal Heroes, with Yaiyai Yalcar getting evolved into a Robot Buddy like Gosei Knight or that one from Solbrain

Or... the sixth Ranger is an obviously "foreign" sentai Ranger
Taiya having vehicles with the steering wheel on the other side indicates his international connections, so he might bring in someone from another country, maybe played by Tom Constantine.

Shirabe Saibu will end up the Sixth Ranger
If not sixth then seventh or even eighth at least.

Mad Rex will be the Sixth
His attacks are violet in color

     Power Rangers Adaptation Guesses
Title Guesses
  • Racers
  • Nitro Racers
  • Road Racers
  • Wheel Force
  • Wheel Warriors
  • Auto Morphers/Automorphers

This will be the first Sentai Power Rangers adapts after the hiatus

This series will be skipped when Power Rangers does return

If adapted either Orange or Black will be female

If the Sanseaters get Killed Off for Real they DON'T reflect it here
Instead they keep the suits for even more original footage, turning them into the Bulk and Skull of this season
