Kinect Rush: A Disney–Pixar Adventure is a platforming game developed by Asobo Studio based on various films from Pixar. It was released on March 20, 2012, for Xbox 360 Kinect. In the game, the player takes the role of a child who attends a local park based on various Pixar movies. While visiting each exhibit the player goes into a fantasy sequence based on that particular movie where they play a series of minigames. Each minigame is referred to as an "episode" for that movie.

On October 31, 2017, a remastered version, now titled as Rush: A Disney–Pixar Adventure, was released for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows which added traditional controls and a new world.

The game has minigames based on the following movies:

Tropes found in the game:

  • Absurdly Spacious Sewer: Subverted in "Floodgate" because the human-size sewers are spacious to Remy and Emile.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Attack of the Omnidroid in the "Save Metroville" episode.
  • Balloonacy: Carl's House has flown away in "House Chase" from Up world.
  • Bullet Time: Happens at the very end of "Convoy Hunt" when Finn saves the Professor from the helicopter right before the missile blows it up.
  • Character Customization: When the player creates a new file, the first thing they must do is create an avatar to explore the game's hub.
  • Covers Always Lie: Despite appearing on the box art, Elastigirl is nowhere to be seen in the game.
  • Down the Drain: "Floodgate" takes place in the sewers of Paris as the city is under threat of a flood.
  • Eiffel Tower Effect: Obviously in play in the Ratatouille world with it being set in Paris just like the film.
  • Follow That Car: During "Convoy Hunt" in Cars world, the player must follow a convoy of trucks delivering explosive devices.
  • Hub Level: Pixar Park where the player returns after minigames in each of the movie worlds and can interact with other characters.
  • Invisible Wall: The player occasionally encounters glass walls during "Omnidroid Bash" that they must destroy by throwing concrete blocks at.
  • Jungle Japes: The first part of "Jungle Rumble" and "House Chase" both take place in the jungle.
  • Lethal Lava Land: The second part of "Jungle Rumble" shifts to the interior of a volcano. The player also runs through during a portion of "Omnidroid Bash".
  • Levels Take Flight:
    • Halfway through "Airport Insecurity" gameinigame into a flying portion where the player must fly through the air in a free-fall before ending the game by grabbing a hang glider. Afterwards, the first portion of "Dump Escape" is a flying section.
    • The final stretch of "Jungle Rumble" also ends in a free-fall segment.
    • A section of "Canyon Expedition" has the player taking to the sky in a biplane to chase a dirigible.
  • Macro Zone:
    • This is what things seem like in the Toy Story world due to the player being a small toy.
    • Same with Ratatouille world what with you being a rat.
  • Produce Pelting:
    • Remy has to stop Skinner in "Stop That Chef" by hitting him with tomatoes, and then later with tangerines.
    • In "Canyon Expedition" the player needs to pelt airplanes with raspberries to send them crashing into a dirigible.
  • Revenge Is a Dish Best Served: During "Stop That Chef!" in Ratatouille world, Skinner wants to sabotage Chef Linguini's dish before it is sampled by the critic Anton Ego.
  • Shout-Out: One of the lines from a kid in the Incredibles world says "That was totally wicked!" after the player completes the games.
  • Under the Sea: Naturally, the setting of Finding Dory World.
  • Updated Re Release: On October 31, 2017, an updated version of the game was released for Xbox One and Windows PCs that featured 4K HDR graphics, traditional controller support, and a new world based on Finding Dory.
