Video Game / Arcane Weapon

Arcane Weapon is a Flash game created by Denis Novikov and Yury Porogoy in 2013. In the post-apocalyptic world, where demonic robot-monsters took over the world, one man finds titular weapon, that could help slay these creatures

Gameplay of this game is very similar to Mike Shadow: I Paid for It!, where you're also buy upgrades and new powers. But instead of fighting the vending machine, you're fighting with various giant robots

This game provides examples of:

• Animal Motifs : Many robots, such as Iron Mantis or Crookback

• Attack Drone : "Bright Beam" lvl 1 and 2 moves are kamikaze drones, that shoot lasers

• BFS : Arcane weapon can turn into big axe/cleaver/energy sword, while using "Nemesis" or "Handsome blade" move

• Boring, but Practical: All of the common moves are not debuff the enemy or buffing you, but it needs less time to recharge, unlike special and ancient moves. It also fulfills your rage bar, which is needed to special moves

• Breath Weapon : Attack animation of crookback

• Casting a Shadow : Many special moves, such as "Doppelganger" and "Mystery bounce"

• Katanas Are Just Better : The weapon of main hero is a magical katana, that gives him a lot of powers

• Infinity +1 Sword: Ancient moves, that costs artifacts, that harder to get than regular money. But they're stronger than common moves

• Overly Long Fighting Animation: There are actually many attacks that fit to this trope, but "Heavens blade" move probably has the longest attack animation in the game

• Spin Attack : While performing "Katana lvl 4" move, the main hero starts spinning so fast that he turns into whirlwind

• This Is a Drill : Exaggerated. "Hell Drill" attack is just a giant drill, appearing from the ground

• Wave-Motion Gun: lvl 3 "Bright beam" Giant drone is shooting a big laser

• A Winner Is You: After defeating the Final Boss Moloch, the game just ends with a big "Game Over" sign
