The V1 Flying Bomb

Developed by German scientists as a long-range guided bomb, the V1 Flying Bomb was a revolutionary new weapons design that was used to great effect by the Germans late in World War II, being launched from various sites around Western Europe.



Also covered in this video are the fact that the V1 and its designers were highly coveted by the United States following the end of World War II, with the US itself reverse engineering the buzz bomb design to create their own.
