Trivia / Welcome To Eden 2022

Go To

  • The Cast Showoff: Aside from the show's intro, Belinda sings in the second season.
  • Cast the Runner-Up: Irene Dev was cast as Alma after the role of Zoa went to Amaia Aberasturi.
  • Darkhorse Casting: This is the first television project for Alex Pastrana, Irene Dev, Carlos Soroa and Diego Garisa.
  • Dawson Casting:
    • Most of the young cast members fall for this trope, except for Berta Castañé, who plays Gabi and was 18. On the other hand, Alex Pastrana, Berta Vazquez and Jonathan Alonso were all 28, Joan Pedrola was 30 and Belinda was 31.
    • Amaia Aberasturi is five years older than Berta Castañé. In the show, their characters are three years apart. Zoa is 19, while Gabi just turned 16 by the second episode.
  • Disabled Character, Disabled Actor: Eloy, a deaf member of Eden, is deaf just like his actor Carlos Soroa.
  • Fake Nationality:
    • Zig-zagged with Belinda. While she's the only Mexican actress on the show, she still maintains her natural accent, but occasionally uses Spanish pronouns without actually trying to sound Spanish.
    • Subverted with Guillermo Pfening, who is Argentine and plays his own nationality as well. Applies also for Carlos Torres, a Colombian.
  • Queer Character, Queer Actor: Mayka, the head of Eden's I.T. area is trans, which gender identity is shared by the actress who plays her, Lola Rodríguez.
  • What Could Have Been: Irene Dev originally auditioned for the role of Zoa.
