Trivia / Venus Versus Virus

• Overtook the Manga: The anime goes in a different direction than the manga and also ended earlier. It's very noticeable in how Layla and Laure are portrayed in the anime and how Lucif isn't remotely the Big Bad of the manga.
• What Could Have Been: At the end of the first volume, you get to read the original oneshot and look at the original character designs. The Viruses were more like demons and Lucia's covered eye looked more like a cross. Sumire's cousins had very different designs, with Nene's design was used for Tsukuyo while Riku isn't preppy looking. Viruses were originally demons and Lucia made Sumire go berserk by intentionally shooting her with a bullet that was made from pieces of demons that she had killed.
