- Hypothetical Casting: Just like the previous fanfic, every original character has these for English (and Japanese) voices to help give an idea of how they speak:
- Fubuki Kurosawa - Griffin Puatu (English), Noriaki Sugiyama (Japanese)
- Daijiro Yanagimoto - David Lodge
- Tohru Miyazaki - Todd Haberkorn (English), Koji Yusa (Japanese)
- Yasuho Onodera - Deva Marie Gregory (English), Eri Kitamura (Japanese)
- Takamasa Mizoguchi - Sonny Strait
- Umeta Kitano - Alejandro Saab
- Naoji Ozu - David Wald
- Higura Hamano - Kirsten Day
- Miki Ichikawa - Sarah Anne Williams
- Joel Bongiovi - Wendee Lee
- Sion Dainenji - David Stanbra (English), Hiroshi Kamiya (Japanese)
- Katsumi Hamano - Tara Platt
- Toma Yamada - Mike McFarland
- Kasai Hoshizora - Roger Craig Smith
- Arisu Tsumuraya - Lizzie Freeman
- Setsuna Kurosawa - Laura Post
- Shusuke Miyabe - David Vincent
- Meaningful Release Date: Bizarre Christmas of 1999 was first published on Christmas Day, which is also Fubuki's birthday.
- Missing Episode: Chapter 26 was originally uploaded with a deliberate "Blind Idiot" Translation in homage to the memetic Duwang translation on April Fools Day 2019 before being reverted to the actual chapter. A notable difference is that it ends before the actual chapter ended (likely as to not fully spoil the chapter at the time). The very end of it did feature a Framing Device though, which was Ichikawa showing an unamused Fubuki her attempt at making a story based on the events of the arc and (poorly) translating it into English. CandyAshes did mention the possibility of it being a separate upload in the actual chapter's closing notes, but this has yet to be done.
- What Could Have Been:
- Chapter 8 was originally raunchier during The Talk sequence, but the final product cut it down.
- The Achtung Baby arc was originally going to happen off-screen until CandyAshes decided to not just further develop Shizuka, but to also develop Josuke and Onodera's blossoming relationship.
- Chapter 28's closing notes say that the Rat Hunting arc was almost skipped via Adaptation Distillation, but CandyAshes watching "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill" ended up being Inspiration for the Work. This seems to be the inspiration for Crawling King Snake's ability in particular.
- The When Doves Cry arc was planned to have images to accompany certain moments, but this was unable to be done.
- As mentioned on the main page, Bizarre Christmas of 1999 was originally intended as a one-shot, but then was given chapters like all entries in the series, albeit on a smaller scale.
