• What Could Have Been: A few examples:
  • Had Harold won the first season, Emma and Leon would have never been introduced into the story, and instead there would have been two different new characters: Mizuki, a Japanese girl obsessed with her phone, and Dylan, Tyler's old friend and the potential villain of the season. Also, Gwen would have not been in the season, and thus her friendship with Courtney might have not ever been fixed.
  • Bridgette was supposed to be one of the finalists in Back to School!, but having to face Trent, who is quite a pacific character like her, the author was scared the finale might have fallen into a boring territory. Blaineley was added as a finalist to spice things up, and later on Bridgette was changed for Courtney, who is one of the season's main characters and one with a lot of development as well.
  • Noah was supposed to leave much earlier in World Tour Express, and Fiora wasn't supposed to come back. In the end, their friendship was one of the highlights of the later part of the season.
