  • The episode's title comes from an earlier script, when Fang the Shark was originally going to be able to shoot lasers as part of his mutations.
  • As mentioned below, Harold's glasses being given to contestants during the second challenge, which was also titled after one of his catchphrases, are clear leftovers from the version of this episode where Harold still had a cameo appearance.
• What Could Have Been: Harold was confirmed to be one of three characters, along with Leshawna and Tyler, whose cameos were planned for the season but scrapped from the final version. Considering how, in the second challenge, glasses identical to his are given, along with the obstacle course being called the "Mad Skills" Obstacle Course (which is clearly referencing Harold's self-described "mad skills"), this was almost certainly the episode in which he was planned to appear in.
