• Actor-Shared Background: Like Ekaterina Krachevna Kankaeva, Rina Ota is a Japanese-Russian who is fluent in both Japanese and Russian. However, Rina can also speak fluent English and was entirely raised in Japan. But otherwise, she lived in Russia for a few years to learn Russian.
• Role Reprise: Shigeru Chiba is Shigeo Shiba, a rare case where a voice actor portrays his original role (since this is a sequel that happens in the close future of the original events of the series) in a live action setting.
• Those Two Actors: Multiple actors who worked on The Kamen Rider series also worked on this series. Akira is Nadeshiko Misaki and Buchiyama is Captain Bogson just to name a couple.
  • Three of the actors from this show have also been involved with the One Piece series: Naoto Takenaka (The middle aged man in the third episode), who voices Shiki, Seiji Fukushi (Yūma Shiobara), who played Portgas D. Ace in the Super Kabuki II Stage Play, and Shigeru Chiba (Shigeo Shiba), who of course, voices Buggy the Clown.
  • Akira and Shige are Materia and Kefka.
  • Additionally, both of them have portrayed characters from Bleach in different adaptations. Akira is Orihime in the live-action movie, and Shige is Don Kanonji in the Anime.
• No Export for You: Most likely for the novel tie-ins, but the live-action movies are only available in Asia, although Tokyo Wars was released with German subtitles. The movies as a whole were only made available in Asia with regional subtitles/dubs.
