• Role Reprise: Katee Sackhoff finally gets to armour up to play Bo-Katan in live-action, after years of providing her voice in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.
• Spared by the Cut: Axe Woves originally pulled a Heroic Sacrifice, while firing the grenades at the Stormtroopers. This got cut in favor of having Mando fire the grenades instead (though he doesn't die, either). Lucasfilm didn't have time by then to add a new explanation for Axe's absence from the Season 2 finale (while Koska Reeves, Bo-Katan's other partner, shows up), although Mando and Bo-Katan do meet Axe again in Season 3.
• Throw It In!: The show's puppeteer Frank Ippolito was friends with Janina Gavankar (familiar to Star Wars fans as the actress of Battlefront II's Iden Versio), who is also an experienced puppeteer, and invited her onto the show to help him puppeteer the Mon Calamari dock worker. Needless to say, the rest of the crew including Dave Filoni were thrown off by her surprise appearance on set.
