• Real-Life Relative: Meredith Henderson's (Shirley) sister Rebecca played Mimi in "The Case of the Open Hand."
• Screwed by the Network: In the United States, Fox Family Channel (now Freeform) only aired the first two seasons on Saturdays and Sundays (first mornings, then afternoons following a hiatus) before it stopped airing the show. To add insult to injury, the episodes were usually aired out of order. This was rather odd, considering the show's general popularity pretty much everywhere else. Seasons 3 and 4 eventually premiered on Showtime Family Zone in 2001/2002, this time airing on weekday (and early weekend) afternoons.
• What Could Have Been: In an interview for the online nostalgia series You, Me, and YTV, Meredith Henderson said that Brendan Fletcher (Stink) also auditioned for the role of Bo.
