- Synopsis: In this AU series, Shirley meets—and becomes smitten with—an American-born boy named Blake Hewitt, who also becomes the third member of her sleuthing team. The first case involves solving the second theft of The Mona Lisa as well as identifying a shadowy figure who is eventually revealed to be Blake's father, Christopher Hewitt, one of INTERPOL's top inspectors—he has literally solved every case assigned to him since he was first hired. Unfortunately, it's also revealed that Inspector Hewitt faked his death following a failed assassination attempt by ENIGMA, a century-old criminal organization known (by the nano-select group of people who even know they exist) for profiteering off of better-known crime rings and the corrupt rich while maintaining an invisible profile rivaling Shirley's. At the end of the first story, the case is solved and ENIGMA's existence is revealed to the world, much to the chagrin of its leader, Mr. E, who retaliates by declaring Shirley (and by extension, Bo and Blake) to be ENIGMA's new #1 target and dispatching his Elite Eight (Numbers Two to Nine with Number One being their immediate superior answerable only to Mr. E himself) to Redington to deal with her. After Mr. E reveals the depth of his own evil and his organization's extreme competence by successfully kidnapping Molly and torturing her to the point of mental breakdown, Shirley and her partners are placed under the protection of the Strangers' Club, an organization of junior paranormal investigators who also recruit Bart as an official member. Both the founding Strangers and the Elite Eight are soon revealed to possess various superhuman abilities and their respective organizations to be in possession of advanced technology—especially weapons—exceeding what was showcased in The X-Files. What follows are some of the most epic life-or-death battles that never made it to the small screen. But if you're a fan of Alicia, Stink, and/or Shirley's family— the series features Robert, Joanna, and Peggy living together in the Holmes house—be warned; all of these characters have (with some exception) been Demoted to Extra due to the prevalence of Blake and the Strangers.
- Pairings: Shirley/Blake (original character), Bart/Susan (original character), Lucy/C.D. (original characters).

- Crossover with The Secret World of Alex Mack
- Synopsis: The Hawthorn and Wagner International Science and Technological Exposition—one of the top science conventions/competitions in the world—is being hosted by none other than Sussex Academy. As it happens, Paradise Valley's own Annie Mack has been selected to participate in this year's event—meaning the entire Mack family, including a very reluctant Alex, will be heading to Redington. Also in attendance is one of last year's winners, a Russian chemist named Serge Malnofski—who happens to be secretly working on a medical project of extraordinary proportions. Unfortunately, his efforts have attracted the wrong type of attention, and it's not long before both Annie and Shirley's father Robert are caught in the crossfire. With both their families to avenge, Shirley and Alex must join forces to learn Serge's secret and bring down the forces seeking to silence him and anyone else who gets too close. If that wasn't enough, Shirley's archrival Molly Hardy is also competing at the expo and is up to her usual tricks. What could she be planning, and how much does it have to do with Serge's pursuers?
