- Author's Saving Throw: The Canadian version of the characters didn't have much personality in the 80s. However when writer George Longely entered, he wanted the elf trio to become better as time went by, thus revealing and developing their character with every commercial beginning in the late 80s and early 90s. This concept has similarities to the M&M's Spokescandies for that reason alone, despite from very different companies.
- Cross-Dressing Voices: Multiple American ads from the 90s featured Mona Marshall as Crackle.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Most of the foreign Rice Krispies commercials (these include in Italy, France and Spain) are somewhat difficult to find, so good luck for finding them. Averted for the Canadian ones (outside of Quebec) when the team behind them uploaded them in high-quality on YouTube after years of obscurity.
- Milestone Celebration: For the cereal's 70th anniversary in 1998, Kellogg's made a new jingle for the Rice Krispies brand.
- The Merch: Snap, Crackle, and Pop have appeared in multiple amounts of merchandise such as T-shirts, plush toys, wind-up figurines and more. They're even included with other merchandise of other Kellogg's mascots such as Tony the Tiger, Toucan Sam, and oddly enough, Dig'em Frog from Honey Smacks.
- Repeating Ad: This ad in 2001 was shown at least once every commercial break on kids channels in Canada. A 15-second version of the ad is also seen for 2002.
- In the US, the Vibin' ad seemed to play during every Nick commercial break in the summer of 2021.
- What Could Have Been:
- Animator Maxwell Joseph posted a surprisingly finished Rice Krispies Squares cereal commercial produced in 2005 on YouTube. Unfortunately, it was unaired and the other finished ad, "Riddle" was aired instead in the same year.
- Writer George Longely posted this scrapped Singing with the Granola Bars commercial was also unaired due to creative differences despite having a good screen testing.
- There are also animatics of two never-produced commercials for Rice Krispies Cocoa and Vanilla where one had Crackle used a flower to pick cocoa or vanilla Rice Krispies, unlike the final version where he used a coin, and the other explaining his struggles via a song.
- Another unfinished ad is about Snap, Crackle and Pop having new ideas for promoting Rice Krispies Squares bars: Juggling with the Bars, Fashion with the Bars, and Battle with the Bars, respectively.
- The Canadian ad for Cocoa Krispies Straws would've had a follow-up ad promoting Froot Loops Straws, but the plans fell through.
- An overlooked example would've been an early 2000's remake of a 60's commercial where the Rolling Stones performed a Rice Krispies jingle.
- Write What You Know: According to writer George Longeley, the idea behind the "Focus Group" ad in 2000 was based on a comment on Ariana Alexis back when she was 4. When she was asked about the three elves she said exactly... " I like Crackle, she's cute!", and eventually adding Crackle's character development in the process.
