• Development Hell: The original developers working on the line drifted away from the project until the current authors came along and picked up where the originals left off.
• Saved from Development Hell: Siren the Drowning originally began in 2009 at the RPG.net forums and under the name of Siren the Surfacing. There was mainly speculation on splats, powers and the like available, but no concrete rules or the like created. The thread had died around 2013. Two years later, the current Authors had started it anew with the blessing of the old authors to which it has progressed to today.
