• Ascended Fan Nickname:
  • The Punny Name "Pixie Chicks" comes from the comments of the strip they appear in; it was immediately adopted by the author as much better than what he had in mind.
  • Later, the same is done for Y.T., originally Yuan-Tiffany.
  • A double for the names of the hipster vampires, via vote. The top vote was "Our names are in some really old language you have probably never heard of." The lowest vote, and "thus the most obscure one", was Ezra and Koenig, so those became their real names.
• Screwed by the Lawyers: A legal fight between Wizards of the Coast and the comic's creator knocked the comic offline for a month and a half. In the end, the only significant (to the reader) change needed was retconning a snake-girl character into a lamia (presumably because her original race was not part of the d20 System Reference Document).
