- Dueling Shows: Nintendo Power reviewed Robopon in comparison to fellow robot-themed RPG Metal Walker, though the two games are pretty dissimilar besides sharing a robot mons theme.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: None of the Robopon games have been rereleased since they originally came out, and an English version of Star was only discovered in a massive GBC game leak.
- No Export for You: Robopon 64 was never released in America, nor were Moon and Star versions despite the latter having an English version. The manga and players' guides also never made it over.
- Official Fan-Submitted Content: Sun, Star, and Moon's Japanese releases had empty space
on the cartridge which were used to make fan-submitted Robopon for Bon Bon Moon, which were inserted into the winners' cartridges. Kamisama, Yukidan, Drobot and Platina were created as a result but will only live as long as the batteries do. - What Could Have Been: Early screenshots show that the Legend title was originally the Greatest title, C-Cell was named Digit, Robopon themselves were named Junkbots, the Defend and Evade commands were Defense and Evasion, and the status effect Fever was originally Hot.
