- So, in Sun/Moon/Star, Cody beats 5 people and takes their ranks, becoming Legend3. That means there are two more people to go. Then Dr. Zero enters the tournament and beats the Legend2, and then the Legend1, causing the current Legend1 to become Legend2. Then Cody beats the new Legend2, becomes Legend2, and then beats Dr. Zero to become Legend1. That all makes sense. Except... who was the Legend2 before Dr. Zero entered the tournament?
