Awesome Music / Robopon

Go To

Robopon 1

  • The main theme in the first game, which doubles as the encounter theme at the Robopon Dome.
  • The friendly town theme is just that; happy and welcoming.
  • The theme played when healing your Robopon in the first game is four seconds of awesome.
  • Not so much awesome as relaxing, but the Poro Village music from the first game can lull you to sleep. It doubles as the diving music.
  • Also from the first game, the music in caves has a catchy, infectious beat.
  • The Robopon Center music is very cheerful-sounding.
  • The music when you're riding Cycool, Speedy, or Tread is very catchy, and is used in some minigames.
  • The Jumper minigame music is fast and exciting-sounding, almost making up for how many times you'll lose at it in Kamat's Tower.
  • Tail Castle is appropriately regal-sounding.
  • The wasteland town theme is probably the most desperate and intense town theme in the Game Boy Color's library.
  • The first game's credits theme.

Robopon 2

  • The Battery Clatter music is short, but very exciting as you wonder which battery will come out. Sadly, it's not on the OST.
  • The main theme, doubling as regular trainer battle music.
  • Nick D.'s theme is sad and a little frightening, and a very well-crafted piece of music.
  • The Lover's Cliff music sounds wistful, sad, and happy all at once.
  • The Present Day World Map and the Past World Map are both very good; the present-day theme has more GBA instrumentation, while the Past theme goes retro.
  • The time travel theme is heard in only a few scenes, but you hear it often enough that it leaves an impression.
  • The Legend Battle music is intense from the get-go, and really makes you feel like you're fighting a Legend.
  • The final boss music drives home that this could be a hopeless fight, but you keep trying anyway.
  • The credits show thanks for saving the world and a job well done.
