  • Development Hell: The game was in development for around seven years, some of which weren't spent considering a release on a contemporary format.
  • What Could Have Been: It was started as "Grand Theftendo", an attempt to demake Grand Theft Auto III into NES. However Brian Provinciano, the developers, adds a lot of Shout-Out to the point of Reference Overdosed, thus rewriting the game into something more original, and technical limitations force him to develop for PC and mainstream consoles. However it didn't stop him to port to DOS (the whole game, missing only the in game music in place of PC-speaker support) and also releasing the NES prototype as a Game Within a Game.
