Trivia / Ready Jet Go! Space Camp

Go To

  • Acting for Two:
    • Besides playing both Dr. Bergs and Face 9000 as usual, Brian Drummond also voices the guard at the DSA.
    • Meg Roe voices both Celery and Stella's ship.
    • Ana Sani plays the Bortronian Veejay and Dr. Chandra.
    • Brenda Crichlow plays Dr. Skelley and the operator from Bortron 7 who tells Jet about the connection delays.
  • Adored by the Network: As with any PBS Kids special that runs for an hour or longer, this special aired pretty frequently the summer it debuted despite not being advertised all that much. It got to the point where reruns of the special pre-empted other adored shows on the PBS Kids block.
  • Crossdressing Voices: In the Spanish dub, Face is actually voiced by a woman, Lileana Chacon. However, they most likely pitched down her voice so she could sound male, as Face still sounds like a man in the movie.
  • Cross-Regional Voice Acting: While most of the voice cast is based in Vancouver, Ana Sani (the voice of Dr. Chandra, as well as the Bortronian veejay) is based in Toronto.
  • Fake Scot: Canadian Mark Oliver as Scottish-accented Great Galacto.
  • Invisible Advertising: The movie got no advertisement or promos at all in the weeks leading up to its premiere.
  • Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": This movie marked the debut of Ready Jet Go! in France and Italy since the TV series never aired in those countries.
  • Meaningful Release Date: The movie came out on July 20, which is when the Apollo 11 astronauts landed on the moon in 1969.
  • No Dub for You: The movie was released in Italy with subtitles only.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • Sean and Mitchell received recasts once again. Sean, in this movie, is voiced by Anthony Bolognese, while Mitchell is voiced by Gordon Cormier.
    • In the Spanish dub of the movie, every single character was recast except for Angie Mallo as Mindy and Abigaly Claro as Mitchell.
  • Playing Against Type: Mark Oliver is mostly known for playing bad guys, such as Lord Garmadon, Grizzle, Rau Le Crueset, and Dr. Thadeus Blakk. Here, he plays the Great Galacto, who is unambiguously heroic.
  • Uncredited Role: Dr. Skelley, Carrot, and Celery's voices were not credited in the French dub. Bergs wasn't credited in neither Spanish nor French.
