- Follow the Leader: It takes a number of cues from the earlier Hogwarts School of Prayer and Miracles, coming off as being that fic for Pokémon fans. To wit: it's a fanfic written by a concerned mother that attempts to rewrite a popular franchise to be more "Christian-friendly", with it being ambiguous whether or not it's satire (though the fact that the story's "villain" does something similar hints that it is). The female protagonist is inexplicably made the daughter of the Big Good despite them being unrelated in canon, and she is immediately hit with Chickification. The "villain" is a politician allegedly seeking to wipe out Christianity. The author has a habit of describing certain male characters as highly attractive. Finally, a lot of emphasis is placed on the power of prayer and angels.
