Trivia / Pecks Bad Boy

• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: Despite what some books and other sources might tell you, this is not a remake of the 1920's film of the same name, starring Jackie Coogan . The plots of both films are completely different. It was based on a different Henry Peck story, but the term "Peck's Bad Boy" had become popular slang in the early 20th century.
• Enforced Method Acting: Producers were not happy with Jackie Cooper's crying, and called him a lousy actor. They blamed the director, and fired him on the spot, which made Cooper cry. It was all just a trick though, to get Jackie Cooper to cry for real.
  • They were probably inspired by a similar trick that was pulled on Cooper during the filming of Skippy.
