Trivia Tropes

  • And Starring: A variation of the concept occurs in the end credits, specifically calling out Nanameda Kei being Anri's designer with "Sub Character Design (Anri): Nanameda Kei".
  • Cross-Regional Voice Acting: The English dub has Texas-based Lindsay Sheppard and Emi Lo (the latter having been formally based there before moving to Los Angeles) as Maho/Grey Sister and Higurashi respectively.
  • Darkhorse Casting:
    • Some of the Japanese voice cast for the new characters are voiced by lesser known actors in the industry, compared to the more experienced All-Star Cast.
      • Natsumi Ōshita, Anri's Japanese voice actress, isn't as well-known as the other actresses, especially when compared to Maho's voice actress. Her resume mostly consists of minor characters, with her only "major" and better-known role being Highmore from Arknights.
      • Yua Nagae, Alice's Japanese voice actress, is even less well-known as her only role at the time was Kanazuka Haruna in the infamous My Sister, My Writer anime, though she would do some voice work after that.
      • Ryota Shida, F2P's Japanese voice actor, has seldom done any voice work before or after this game, nor is he as prolific as the rest of the cast, including the above-mentioned Ōshita and Nagae.
      • While she did some voice work, Erika Yoshizumi, Aneeta Job/Yamori Komori's Japanese voice actress, is better known for her singing career in some tokusatsu shows like Kamen Rider.
    • The English dub also has a few newer talents among their returning veterans like Lindsay Sheppard, Madeline Dorroh, and Anjali Kunapaneni (the latter having already started their breakout role in the form of Dori); though rising stars like Jenny Yokobori and Emi Lo are also included in the roster.
  • Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition:
    • The Japanese release of the game includes a letter from Nepgear, a visual book, a soundtrack CD containing a new song and an arrangement of Mk2's soundtrack and a poster of Nepgear and Uni. The PlayStation versions of the game also include a poster of Nepgear and Uni.
    • The English release of the game includes a hardcover book, a soundtrack CD, a large mousepad and a steelbook.
  • Release Date Change: The Xbox port was originally scheduled for a April 16, 2024 release, but for unknown reasons was pushed forward two months to May 21.
  • Role Reprise: The English dub marks the return of Melissa Fahn (Neptune), Erica Mendez (Noire), Wendee Lee (Blanc), Carrie Keranen (Vert and Rom), Christine Marie Cabanos (Nepgear)note , Sarah Anne Williams (Uni), Shelby Lindley (Rom)note , Kate Higgins (IF) Cristina Vee (Compa), Stephanie Sheh (Histoire), and Laura Post (Arfoire) as their respective characters. Sisters also marks the return of English dubbing in the franchise since Super Neptunia RPG in 2018, after Virtual Stars and the Senran Kagura crossover game didn't receive either.
  • Uncredited Role:
  • What Could Have Been: Grey Sister is designed far differently in the concept arts than how she is in the final game.
    • Three early versions of Grey Sister depict her with Girlish Pigtails instead of having long, straight hair; the color of her hair being light pink, which was more or less made to spoil the fact that she's a future version (and the HDD form) of Maho, instead of a mixture of black and gray; and her eyes being purple instead of magenta. Her suit had a one piece leotard instead of one with a Cleavage Window, the translucent front side of her leotard exposes a portion of her body instead of just her abdomen, and the color of her outfit being light grey instead of white. One of the early designs also depicts her as a petite little girl, instead of having the same build as Nepgear.
    • Another early draft of Grey Sister is also similar to the above early drafts by having Girlish Pigtails and purple eyes, but the color of her hair is instead black with light grey gradients and her leotard had blue highlights instead of grey and pink. She was also depicted wearing glasses in the draft.
