Trivia / Mystery Trackers

Go To

  • Acting for Two: As is the case with many of the Elephant Games properties, the Mystery Trackers games frequently have an Economy Cast, with only a few performers providing all of the voices.
  • Blooper:
    • For some reason, the information given on the detective's computer in The Fall of Iron Rock states that her first successful case was that of the Nightsville Horror. This can't be correct, since the player character has been the same one since Black Isle as evidenced by the presence of Canine Companion Elf.
    • Agent Ginger is first introduced in The Fall of Iron Rock under her real name of Rachel Masters. However, in Forgotten Voices, the collection sidequest of favorite items belonging to the three player characters gives her real name as Rachel Cole.
  • Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: Most of the games made by Elephant are available in both a vanilla edition and one of these. The collector's edition of each game offers a bonus chapter which expands on the storyline, as well as extra puzzles, collection sidequests, and other features like concept art.
  • One-Steve Limit: This series sure does like the name Samuel. There's Samuel Blackrow in the backstory of Blackrow's Secret, Mary Johnson's boyfriend Sam in Nightsville Horror, Sam the shopkeeper in Mist Over Blackhill, and Samuel Masters in The Fall of Iron Rock.
  • The Other Darrin: Seen in the bonus chapter of The Fall of Iron Rock. Agent Shade is, in all of her other appearances (both in this series and Detectives United), voiced by Courtney Christine Rosemont. But she only has two lines in the bonus chapter, so the devs had Samantha Livingston, who voices the player character of the main game, provide the vocals.
    • Also, any time Agent Brown appears in this series and has a speaking role, he's voiced by Peter Efimov, one of the higher-ups at Elephant Games. In the spinoff series Detectives United, he's voiced by Chris McCann.
  • ReBoot: According to a post on the official Facebook page, the developers are considering remaking the series; they asked whether the players would want to be able to see Amber's face if that were to happen. No confirmed timeline for such a project has been given, however.
  • Working Title: The installment Fatal Lesson was originally going to be called Tragedy in the Training Camp.
