• Milestone Celebration:
  • The sequel miniseries launched on December 2022, for the 35th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) animated series.
  • Similarly, the sequel miniseries ended on May 2023, a few months prior to Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers' 30th anniversary month.
• What Could Have Been: For Tim Lattie's variant cover of issue #2 in the sequel, he revealed on a Twitch stream that he initially tried to suggest a couple of alternative concepts, since he had trouble getting the Rangers to pose around a manhole Turtles-style. The first one simply had four of the Rangers be on top of the Megazord's head, while the other two piloted it. The second one was a TMNT-themed split panel, with April as the Pink Ranger at the top, the Turtle Megazord in the middle, and the Turtle Rangers at the bottom as the focus of the piece. In the end, Boom! Studios insisted with their initial proposal.
