  • Acting for Two: For the French language version:
    • Not being one to let his crown of France's Man of a Thousand Voices go away, Roger Carel voiced Jolly Jumper, Rantanplan (second voice), Mathias Bones, Winston Pendergast, Senator Pendelberry, Frank James, Jasper, Pieddefer Wilson, Sam the Mountain Man, Baby Sam, Professor Gustav Cranium, Joe Dalton (one episode), Coyote Will and some others.
    • Francis Lax voiced Jesse James, August Oyster, Barry Blunt, Waldo Badminton, Bull Bullets and Senator Wilkins.
    • Perrette Pradier voiced Ma Dalton and Annabelle Phelps.
  • Dueling Dubs: In Hungary, the Compilation Movie Lucky Luke: The Daltons on the Run has three dubbed versions: a 1992 VHS dub, a 2002 TV dub and a 2005 DVD dub.
  • International Coproduction: The series was a French-American-Belgian-German collaboration initially. Hanna-Barbera handled the American side of it in 1983-1984. The 1991-1992 season, meanwhile, was fully French in production.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The English dub hasn't been released on DVD, and the VHS tapes are out of print. The French one, meanwhile, can be easily found on the official Lucky Luke YouTube channel.
  • The Other Darrin: In French:
    • Jacques Thébault (who dubbed James West in The Wild Wild West) replaced Daniel Ceccaldi (Ballad of the Daltons) as Lucky Luke. Ceccaldi himself had replaced Marcel Bozzuffi after Daisy Town.
    • RenĂ© Goscinny himself voiced Jolly Jumper in Ballad of the Daltons and passed when the film was in production in 1977. Roger Carel took over the role for this series.
    • Carel was replaced by Bernard Demory as Jolly Jumper in the 1991 revival season.
    • Pierre Trabaud voiced Joe Dalton in the two previous animated films and reprised the role the 1983 season of the series. Patrice Baudrier then replaced him in 1991.
  • Posthumous Credit: RenĂ© Goscinny passed away in 1977. He's co-credited for the scripts, since he wrote the albums they're based off.
  • Role Reprise: In French:
  • Self-Adaptation: Morris was involved in directing the series.
