Trivia / Life Is Strange 2

Go To

  • Children Voicing Children: Every child character is voiced by an actual child, which many agree helps make their characters’ performances feel very authentic and emotional.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices: Conversely, in the Japanese version of the game, Daniel and Chris are voiced by women.
  • The Danza: Hannah Reyome is voiced by Hannah Prichard.
  • Defictionalization: Sean's signature "Wolf Squad" hoodie proved to be quite popular with the fanbase, much like Max's "Jane Doe" shirt before it, so much so that Insert Coin actually created a whole line of hoodies directly replicated after it.
  • Method Acting:
    • That scene when Sean was calling Lyla in the Three Seals Motel and was crying? Gonzalo Martin really was crying when he was recording. They had him record the line for hours until they manage to get it right.
    • Shortly after getting the role, Gonzalo Martin spent a full weekend living on the street with limited resources to get the feel for what his character was going through.
  • Production Posse: Nick Apostolides and D.W. McCann once again provide voice work for a Life Is Strange game.
  • Throw It In!: Because Gonzalo Martin is a native Spanish speaker, the voice director allowed him to improvise his Spanish lines in order to make it sound more natural.
  • What Could Have Been: Lyla was only meant to appear in Episode 1. However, due to her unexpected popularity amongst fans, she made a reappearance in Episode 2, 4, and 5.
  • Word of Gay: The official Twitter account lists Cassidy among the "LGBTQIA+ characters" of the series, despite no indication of her being anything other than cishet in the game proper.
  • Word of God: According to Michel Koch, the foreshadowing of David's appearance in "Faith" with Karen's tablet having the password 112708 was very deliberate, he was surprised how no one caught on until near the release of "Wolves".
    • Koch has also given his thoughts as to why Chloe has blacked out her tattoo sleeve in the timeline where she lived, attributing it to a mixture of guilt and a desire to move on.
