• What Could Have Been:
  • The commentary track reveals that the original plan was to have the film be set on an island during Spring Break. However, the comparatively positive reaction to In the Hood in comparison to previous sequels resulted in the producers insisting on making another "hood" movie and basically making the same movie again.
  • The director wanted Eartha Kitt to play the fortune teller; she was unavailable because she lived in New York at the time.
