  • Acting for Two: Darin De Paul voices President Roosevelt and Brainiac.
  • Fake American: The Canadian Elysia Rotaru as the American Black Canary.
  • Fake Nationality: Stana Katic (Canadian) as Wonder Woman.
  • Production Posse: Matt Bomer (Barry Allen/Flash II) and Stana Katic (Wonder Woman) previously worked together as Superman and Lois in another DC animated movie, Superman Unbound. At the film's panel for Wonder-Con 2021, they state they only met once previously when they saw each other at the recording studio separately recording their lines for Superman: Unbound.
  • So My Kids Can Watch: Omid Abtahi cites this trope for part of why he signed on for this movie.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Producer Butch Lukic revealed that the movie is a repurposed version of the plans for a cancelled animated Wonder Woman show set in World War II, intended for the now-defunct DC Universe streaming service. Proposed before Wonder Woman (2017) came out (which also was supposed to be set in WWII until it was changed to WWI), the pitch was rejected as it was believed by execs that there would be no interest in any Wonder Woman-centric media (until, of course, the 2017 movie proved them wrong).
      • Although there wouldn't have been a Justice Society in that series, a few heroes like Hawkman would've been in it.
    • Liam McIntyre tried giving Aquaman his Australian accent or the usual American accent that McIntyre uses until he ended up with the mix of Mid-Atlantic and "posh Spartacus" accents.
    • Originally Steve was going to die after drinking all of Hourman's miraclo to save Wonder Woman, before it burned him out and aged him to death. However it was eventually decided this would go against what he had said before to Wonder Woman about how normal soldiers are just as useful in the war as the superheroes.
    • Early on there were some plans to include Charles McNider in the story, though before he became Dr Mid-Nite. However he was eventually cut from the story due to a lack of time.
  • Word of God:
    • While not stated in the film, Jeremy Adams confirmed that the Kamandi short is indeed connected to the film.
    • Hawkman's and Black Canary's relationship was intended to be Like Brother and Sister according to the writer, and nothing in the film actually conflicts with that. However those involved and viewers felt there was romantic undertones in their relationship, and the director claims that Canary is in love with Hawkman who doesn't return the feelings, or is at least feels conflicted due to missing Chay-Ara, which the writer agrees with.
