Trivia / Joey's Special Experience

• Ascended Fanon: You could argue that the entire series lore is built on this, since the translations are completely random and the only coherent way to make a story out of them came out from fan theories published on the official Joey's Special Experience Discord and Wiki.
• Pen Name: While the author in-universe is Hirohiko Archie, Blue Joseph and others are the ones who actually do the translating.
• Series Hiatus: The manga sometimes falls back and forth into the hiatus pipeline, starting with Modern Warfare halfway through, to the point where it took over half a year to finish because of that. With Star Wars, however, chapters started releasing almost daily again, until another (official) hiatus happened before the Egypt arc and yet another after the unexpected closure of Text Obfuscator​ (a translation site used for translating the manga).
• Trolling Creator: The in-universe author Archie tends to be like this, as he revealed in a Man! author's note that he thinks faking is fun. Due to that, it is not recommended to take everything he writes about at face value, since he often likes to play with his audience.
• Unfinished Dub: A dub is being produced, albeit it is extremely behind the current chapter - as in, over 100 chapters behind. It is unfortunately unlikely to ever be completed. You can check out the chapters dubbed so far here.
