• Fake American: Orla Brady (Lydia) and Sarah Bolger (Jade) are Irish. Emily Beecham (The Widow), Madeleine Mantock (Veil), and Oliver Stark (Ryder) are British. Marton Csokas (Quinn) is from New Zealand. The series is shot partially in Ireland and so features many local talent in bit roles.
• Meaningful Release Date: Perhaps unintentionally. The episode where Tilda turns against the Widow aired on Mother's Day.
• Troubled Production: Stories have come out about the harsh working conditions on the set - with Assistant Directors in a constant state of stress, extras being overworked and several injuries being suffered through unsafe working situations.
